What's your do-over? (538 hits)

Sometimes in life we make mistake, bad discussions, make wrong choices.
Which are alwyas the end results of where we are today! If you could
go back and correct an error, what would it be! Understanding that we can't
correct the past, but what are you also doing to insure your decisions going
forward are the best?

If I could keep the things I know now and start over...my do over would be birth. I would start from day one on a road to success: no detours. But since I can't go back...I try to make up for all the time I've lost everyday :-)

Simply... I would have chose a women that didnt after 7 years of marriage decide to cheat on me!!!! other than that all the other bad decisions I've made kind of made me into who I am today...

Thanks for sharing; it’s great that we not hold back so much anger towards our past decisions. But it's also great to dust off and keep it going.

My do-over, would be to not have been married at 18 or 19. I can't remember anymore, I'm not sure what I could've been so afraid of to rush into a hasty decision. But at the same time it made me to woman I am today. So going forward I take my time to get to know an individual and at the first sign of craziness, I'm usually out!

Despite all that I have been through, good bad and horrible because of some of the decisions that I made. I would not change anything, because it has made me the woman and lady that I love today.

Dr. Glover, no you can not do your do-over again....But next time you'll no, right!

Hi Keesha, by the way beautiful baby!

In reference to your comment " I would only allow people who add to my life instead of taking from it."

If you can't learn anything from the people in your life and if they can learn anything from you then they've got to go! That's a big one for me. I'm a very loyal person and I'm about growth. You got your focus on the right trial.

I wouldn't do anything over again, if I had the chance. My mistakes and such made me the person I am today. You learn from your mistakes, and hopfully don't do it again. You become a stronger, independent person. You forgive and forget. You move on. God puts people in your life for reason, and its not for us to try to figure out why. Things happen for reason. We aren't suppose to sit there and try to analyze why it happen that why.

No, I am not saying I am perfect. I'm not. and Im not trying to be perfect. I just have a great role model, called my mom.

All of what I am now, is a product of those past mistakes, so I'm hesitant to change anything. But the one thing I might do is not have s*x before committment. Once you have s*x with someone, the spiritual connection is overwhelming. It keeps you from making better decisions.

I do have to agree with you on that Mrs. Smallwood. Since I was little, I kept telling myself that I was going to wait until after I was married. That didn't happen. I have a 15 yr old sister, and every time we have sister/sister time or talks, I keep telling her not to make the same mistake as me. I do hope and pray she waits.

I would've chosen Sirmundo (might be misspelled) instead of Jakarta.
