You are on the most appropriate question of our day and time Dr. Glover! The purpose of living is to serve humanity, and if we all come together, we can all be free! In higher education, we have concentration areas known as majors. Each major is designed to contribute to the purpose of life so that these individuals go out prepared and serve humanity for its betterment. The meaning of life is measured by our service to life. Every major is guided toward the meaning of life. (Whether that major is Computer Science which contributes to helping people communicate more effectively in life or whether that major is in the health care professions which helps us make new discoveries to improve the bio chemistry and physical life of humans, plants, and nature or even the business major which contributes to helping people make important transactions in life, we serve humanity through these majors). Best of success with raising the issues that will contribute to our improved sense of understanding about us and humanity!--JH

Honestly, I believe I'm here to make a difference. I battle with my inner spirits because I sometimes feel caught somewhere in the middle. My heart is good, my intentions are good. I care about people and I would give my last and let God resupply that need. I give of my time with volunteer work and I try to be friend with a great listening ear who gives sound advice. I try to find a way to bless another... but in all this, is it my way of trying to determine my purpose. With out purpose we are simply taking up space in this place we call the world so graciously design by our dear God. I take it one day at a time. I read Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Book with my small group at church it was a 40 Day Mission. I was hoping by the 40th day I would know why I was here. But at the end of the day, God continues to reveal to me I have a caring heart and maybe my sole purpose is to continue to care about those society forgets about. Etana
