Finding absolute truth. (239 hits)

How many people are willing to find the absolute truth about a topic? Sure, one could read a few books on the topic but books can, and usually are, biased and subjective. And sure, you could talk to a few "experts" but you'll encounter the same situation as books. It's a necessity to gain truth and knowledge, for that's the only way to survive this world. There are so many books, blogs, articles, and "experts" that it's easy to believe we know the truth but are further from it that we know. I'm not saying no one know anything, nor am I saying I know anything, all I am suggesting is that we stop believing what we hear and even what we read. Research, then research the research. Some where out there the truth is sitting there, waiting. So I ask again, how many people are willing to go through the process of finding absolute truth?

I don't think you can find absolute truth because truth is relative to the seeker but I continue to search, find and make meaning, and come to my truth.

I say this every time I run into the question of "absolute truth" The word, W-H-Y makes Absolute truth mute in the world where there is a seperation of science and religion. In the world of science a theory/law changes with OBJECTIVE proofs that makes thing work better in the real world. Science is not trying to prove a theory or "every thing" a step up from Einstein's theory that does not seem to work too well with space travel as Man is trying to go beyond this known universe.
