That's true. Why unbelievers expect to understand (or even question to the hilt) why believers DO believe is beyond me because as you said, it goes NOWHERE...and fast.
It really amounts to the same point...if you don't believe and don't want to, DON'T. If you do, then DO. All the rest is conversation...and most of it where religious discussions between believers and unbelievers...is moot.

Bill Maher is comedian who has made a mockery of religion on his HBO show for years now. Personally I like his show because he's funny and doesn't sugarcoat his responses. I just hope his movie shows some balance. I hope he interviews Jakes, Jackson and a few others in this movie, so that I could see some quality answers to his questions.
I mean, the one lady said she can't wait for the Rapture, so she can fly away on a horse. This movie might need to interview some theologians who might atleast be qualified to answer them.
I wouldn't mind watching this movie myself.

KX, depending on the motive for the movie, they may or may NOT interview theologians (or others that may be qualified to answer). Of course, if "qualified" is a relative term (or if they think it is)...

Bill Maher it is funny has never been linked with being honestand open is 'some' things that goes on in America. Honest enought and yet not bold enough to say things like , may be they keep me on Tv as a White token to the only black programs on TV are comedy. Then this man would be kicked off quicker than A. Hall for having Minister Farakhann on ,and this was in the last century!!!!
W-A-K-E U-P my people, we are the joke on mainstream media. Notice only jokes and guns in the few roles we do get to play?????!!!!! They even banned Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton as media talking heads when they went to Jena, La. to help in the tennis shoe deadly weapon case?!? How soon we forget????

I think I will start mentioning this on sites from now on as to why I am begining to understand that it could have been true that 'expression' used by Christain slave holders about happy to be slaves. They said that they had happy slaves because they understood how the harder they worked themselves to death the greater the reward in heaven could be had....
