This is just my opinion Jeff! I was listening too my favorite radio show in the morning, August,21,2008, 98.7 kiss fm. There was a host by the name of "Jeff" who has his own tv show that airs every Friday around 11:00pm on bet.com The young man was talking "Politics" about whom would be suitable too work with our new "President" in "The White House" saying how much exsperience this one have and how well another know about the "Economy".Once again it's not about all that!,anyone can posess knowledge, just ask and you will recieve. We the people can't afford any more mistakes,it's all about doing what's right within the heart for all nationalities. I say we move forward, keep succeeding and improving, pushing too build a better and stronger "Economy" "God gives knowledge!" My vote is for "Obama" and Hilary

"God gives knowledge"? To. NOT "too"! This is elementary and it's all through your profile so it's not a mis-type. Trying. NOT "triing". This would be comical if it wasn't so sad. Would get an "F" in kindergarten. Who in this case, not "whom". Nice tri, though. "Ex..." as in experience and expect (again, see your profile).

Craig, my brother, I submit to you that a private message would have prevailed if you absolutely had to slam the sister on her grammar and spelling. I understand the message she is trying to convey despite any grammatical or spelling errors and I'm sure you can as well. I read a part of your BIA profile and your answer to the question, "Why are you concerned about Black America," you entered the following answer: "Because I'm black and care about others that look like me and my kid's future acceptance by others." This is not a complete sentence, Sir, YET I understand the message you are trying to convey and other than to illustrate a very important point about your post, I would never have thought to call you out on it. My point? You used the word 'acceptance' in your answer. So my question becomes, "Where is YOURS?" The way you put this sister out on front street is both mean and disrespectful. It seems more like ridicule than loving correction. And I'm just one person (one you don't know from Eve), but if this happened to me, I'd at least wholeheartedly desire an apology for the delivery of the message. God bless you, Brother...and may He give you some wisdom to use tact in such sensitive situations. Blessings... P.S. - "Would get an F in kindergarten" is not a complete sentence. And "mis-type" does not contain a hyphen. See? We all get it wrong sometimes. ;-) P.S.S. - I, too, could have sent a PM, but you did what you did publicly and when that happens, your respectful correction needs public attention. (IMHO, you should see it, but as the affected one, so should she).

Oh, I forgot one: You're instead of "Your". And, Dee, what is a Bia? Sister, it's time we start expecting -- or actually DEMANDing -- better usage and understanding of this simple language that we speak and use daily. Accept it as truth or not, this kind of misuse affects us all. People will judge YOU from their assesment of others who came before you. Don't believe me, what are your thoughts on Asian people? Smart or stupid? And you don't know Chin Chu from Adam. I can't correct everyone who uses poor English in private, but I can touch plenty others in a public forum like this. But I do get your points, don't misunderstand. But I am sick-and-tired of grown-assed Black folks who misspell "too" letter words!!! It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't share an ethnicity.

Craig, You know you're my dawg…but this isn’t right. Clearly this is an issue that bothers you…so why not write a BLOG! Don’t call folks out in public, you would want others to call you out. Or should I say: TO Craig from Dr. Ahmad --- Dr. Ahmad Glover wrote (Sun Aug 3rd, 2008 at 2:39PM): I'm not sure if you had a chance to edit your blog but there are a couple of un-intentioned typos : -) From Craig to Dr. Ahmad --- Craig Amos wrote (Mon Aug 4th, 2008 at 8:10PM): As Popeye would say, argh, argh, argh, agrh... No, I hadn't had a chance to "edit" it. Thanks for pointing that out! Even profession editors and publishers make mistakes…so let’s cut back on the public one-upmanship. We get it…you are a great writer….but many of us need help (You and I included). Let's uplift each other my brother....

I think that the message in this post is valid and maybe even showed a few examples of how politicians and everyday people tend to focus on the weaknesses or inexperience of others to gain a sense of strength. May we move forward, keep succeeding and improving.
