The Secret of Math (373 hits)

Some years ago it was said that a Russian Scholar was commissioned to go into the holy bible with a very critical mind-set for the purpose of disproving everything about the word of God. It was believed at that time that this man had one of the greatest minds in the world. He did as instructed and the results were astonishing. He stated; ‘that no one man or woman could have coordinated this work with such awesomeness of the stated period of time’. He went on to say that only God could have orchestrated this great work’. He felt that the Bible was the greatest set of mathematical formulas in the world.
It is to our best interest to understand math in the best possible way, because in so doing we can possess the window by which we can understand the greatest piece of Literature ever known to man.
The following is an example of how awesome simple math really is. Math is the key to understanding and ‘figuring out’ the problems of life we’re facing.

What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%?
Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%?
We have all been in situations where someone wants you to GIVE OVER
100%.

How about ACHIEVING 101%?

What equals 100% in life?

Here's a little mathematical formula that might help answer these
questions:

If:

Is represented as:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26.

If:

H-A-R-D-W-O-R- K

8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

And:

K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E

11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%

But:

A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E

1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%

THEN, look how far the love of God will take you:

Therefore, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that:

While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will
get you there, It's the Love of God that will put you over the top!

Dr. West, I got the last part of that in an email some months ago and I still have it. (The Love of God one wasn't in it...I got the parts associated with brown nosing the boss, etc. at the end and it was funny and oh so true).

Anyway, I enjoyed this. I'll be keeping those math correlations. My 13--year-old will get a kick out of it.

This was hands down the most ridiculous thing I've read on this site.

Remember Farrakhan rambling about the number 19 at the Million Man March?

Listen, numbers are human representations of our perception of the world around us. Anyone who has done any real research into mathematics understands the concept of the "A Priori' factor in numerical representation. There is no such thing as absolute zero just as there no such thing as absolute 'one' or any other number for that matter. Couple that with the fact that the human mind can only comprehend the concept of numbers as they apply to our ability to relate them to our five physical senses not as they relate to the scale of the universe as a whole.

What I see here is another attempt by some mathematician to 'humanize' the concept of God by using symbols (numbers0 that while humans relate to, would have no relevance whatsoever to any being(s) capable of creating universes.

Numbers are no more absolute than words, which are nothing more than descriptions and any good writer and/or mathematician knows that you can make numbers/words/symbols mean whatever you want them to.

The Jewish and Islamic faith each have entire libraries of information about the mathematical precision of the Torah and the Koran

These were the most reassuring words ever spoken to me by a school teacher as I am math disabled. Mrs. Shaw said to me,"We can not be great in all things so always remember the Albert Einstein could not do simple math either".
