A Very Proud Time to Be Black In America

Friends this Is a momentous occasion, We are bearing witness to. Never In my lifetime would I have imagined being alive to see a chance to have a black man in the White House. Now we are upon that becoming reality. Being born and raised in the rural and very much "ignorant " part of Mississippi. I beared witness to things growing up there that lead me to believe it was all a system designed to keep black voices out of government. I feel it was purely out of fear. Now I truly believe it. I just hope and pray that Barack Obama wins this election and can prove that he as a black man can be a voice for our people as well as people from all walks of life Again I am so proud right now..
