Why say so much about or toward women??? Many reasons but allow me to share with you some reflections:
1) Without them there wouldn't be men.......(the story is told that a bunch of men were arguing with several women about 'the man should be able to go out to party, etc. while the woman stays home...a woman in turn asked the men if all the women stayed at home, who would all the men go out and party with).
2) The most awesomely ugly, bitter, nasty, dreadfull things that women go through in America(particularly BLACK WOMEN) is nothing compared to women around the world and the devastating things they must go through. The worse of them(in 3rd world countries, particularly the 10-40 Zone) can blame the men. In my travel around the world I found this problem to be the worse in Black Africa. Black Women are being rapped, 'dis-membered', many times killed...little girls are given to prostitution or sold to grown men...all of this is at the hand of Black Men).
3) I spent too many of my precious young years watching my dad do much harm to my mom. I had to work very hard to make sure that the curse that my dad placed on my life would not caused me to do to women what he did to my mom.
4) The strength of 'the man' can be grately enhanced by the strength of 'the woman' if the man supported her in a much better way than we have in the past and even presently.
Just remember if she hadn't opened her legs, her mind, her heart, and even her soul, none of us would be here.
The following is just a small attempt to strengthen us so that we can strengthen each other.

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape,
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape.
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything,
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her,
but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone.
A strong woman walks sure footedly,
but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls.
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face,
but a woman of strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey,
but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.
TO A WONDERFUL WOMAN
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They carry children, they carry hardships, they carry burdens but
they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up for injustice.
They don't take "no" for an Answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without new shoes so their children can have them.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They have sorrow at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!
Women do more than just give birth.
They bring joy and hope.
They give compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.
God made them like that.
