Our Future Is Demanding More (341 hits)

Checkout this video of a 9 year old boy, giving a speech on his education in front of 20,000 people. This young brother WILL have a bright future. Guess what, he doesn't have a ball in his hand or rappin.

Please share any comments that come to mind. I think we need to showcase our young people as much as possible. I'm sure someone from Texas has seen this already.

This young man has talent and made a good speech but the content referring to what one can be and who you can be is not totally reachable in a society that the very people (Black) he is speaking in behalf or pleading to, has no control. Our leadership has led us into a society that believes we are inferior and that they have done us a favor by letting us be apart of their society. We are limited who and how many of us succeed in this USA by setting quotas and programs that accept a percentage of us. When I came up in a seperate socity we went to school graduated and brought back our talent our community, today we graduate and begged for a job on the plantation we fought and died to be freed from. Who will have our backs? our enemy? No, we as a people must step up to the plate and do for self that which our enemy will not do for us. economics will solve the majority of our problems then we can work on our Identity which will lead to pride and respect for who we are and where we come from. Black history for us didn't start with slavery but for some reason we refuse to go back further. Our forefathers came here with an Identity, religion,dress, etc. Well, I've found my Identity, I AM HEBREW and I worship YAHAWEH as my god. The majority of Blacks in the USA hertiage is Hebrew. Find yourself in the Old Testament, the book that White Christians says is old testament and theirs is the new. They don't want you to know who you are. The Old testament is about Black Hebrews and the New is about Europeans. Peace, love, wisdom and understanding.

When will Black People stop defining themselves, from the past to the future, in the context of what White people are doing or thinking pertaining to it?

THE YOUNG BROTHER spoke with such PRIDE AND HOPE. May whatever he and those with the fire in their spirits along with him aprire towards...LET IT BE.
If the brother(Phil) had stopped at "talent and 'good speech" it would have served the purpose. Let us demand that we will never hold another down or speak a disparaging word especially where the FREE MINDS OF OUR CHILDREN are concerned.
