While sitting here in the Intensive Care Unit waiting room... (573 hits)

My husband of thirty plus years is having Open Heart Surgery as I'm sitting here expressing my thoughts to you. He and I talked about the future. It's all about the future from here. We had a moment to look back and see all of the things we thought were important to us and none of them seemed to have value. It's now. All we have is right now. The past is gone, we cannot fix that, but we can start today to fix the future. If tomorrow comes amen, if not amen.
My husband is also 16 years kidney failure.
He is my champion. I am so honored to be his wife. He is a fighter. Oh we've had some rough times over the years but, I count more good than bad.
We said, until death do us apart.
We said, in the good times and the bad.
We said, in sickness and in health.
I care give to my Mother along with my husband, but today He is the center of my focus.
He and my mother are very close and they get along very well.
However, today he is the center of my focus.
One hour at a time/ONE DAY AT A TIME/one pint of blood at a time.
Now we are just taking it one procedure at a time.
With our vision for the future. Habbakkuk 2:2 "Without a vision my people perish"
WORK FROM HOME
Thank God for a work from home opportunity because I would not be able to hold a fulltime
Corporate job and give them the care /time that they need.
