If you’re an entrepreneur trying to promote your business on a tight budget and cannot afford the full production TV commercial, then you might want to look at Motion Graphic Commercials (Graphical Spots).
Graphical Spots contain no live videotaped footage but are made up completely of graphics (images) that move either to music or not. Some contain Voice Over messages and 3D animated characters. They have been used consistently for years by major corporations and small businesses to promote products and can serve you as well.
The way the normal flow of a full commercial production goes is to script out the commercial, find a director, actors, locations to videotape, camera equipment and operators, sound designer/producer and a video editor/finisher. You’re looking at an easy $2500 and up for a good production, $1000 to $2200 for a cheap one and anything lower than that...Good Luck with the outcome! Now your local cable company may do it for free if you buy time on their network, but you have very little control over the look of the finished product (there’s a reason it’s free).
With a Motion Graphics Commercial or Graphical Spot you only need to deal with a good editor for the most part. Prices range from $500 and up. Some will do it cheaper depending on when you catch them. But you exclude all the other costs associated with producing a commercial for TV. And, you can still use those Graphical Spots for the web as well. Some can even be compressed and emailed. I have a few samples that I’ve created for clients here –
http://www.theanthonyreport.com/commercial... With the economy they way that it is I understand the need to cut costs without losing quality and consistent communication with your target audience. Consider this as an option to help move your product or business. You can place it on Youtube.com, Viddler.com, Google.com, social networking sites, your own website and others as a Barter deal. You can attach keywords in the major video sharing sites to help drive traffic and implement into and direct mail DVD promotions you are doing.
Everyone that’s anyone has video in use to promote their products. This is a way for you to keep up with today’s advertising & marketing technology without spending a small fortune.
