I respect the right of self-determination. I respect exercising your own independent freedom of choice. I also respect intelligence. Persons who make their own decisions based on sound research. I respect persons with political savvy and nationalistic pride.
Moreover, I even respect people who want to be contrary, just because they feel like it.
What I don't respect is questions that are so incredibly dumb, that they make my eyes roll around my head.. someone asked me "why did the Democrats loosened(sic) up all the credit ..& forced the banks to give bad loans" or else..whaaaaaaat??? Even if I could answer that which I could it would take a tome..an encyclopedia of reporting going all the way back to the Revolutionary War's cry of No taxation without representation!!
The challenge was to give them a reason to vote for Barack Obama. I will not! But I will refer them to
www.my.barackobama.com, read and educate yourself..then ask the questions!
If there is one of us in this country that does not want to vote for him, by all means vote your desire. But please, realize it probably will be the dumbest move in your lifetime! But it's okay. You are the one that has to live with it, and explain it to your offspring!
"The same books that open up to me, open up to everyone" ..quote from my Journalism teacher c. 1980
