Please, Comment on this Video About Some Voters' Views On Obama. It's Disturbing. (894 hits)

This is a clear example of how many people really are NOT making INFORMED decisions. This should be against the law. Palin and McCain should be arrested. What they're doing...the message they're putting out there is dangerous and they should be held accountable for it. Take a look:

I will say it again, oppinions are like a-holes, everyone's got one, and they usually stink. In this case, they REEK! As Forrest Gump would say, "Stupid is as stupid does!" It was funny to see them trip over their tongues when asked provocative questions, though! Too bad, it didn't shut them up entirely. Then again, they say "ignorance is bliss", so let those who have "cranial rectitis" keep their head in their rear. Let us pray they have the sense to put a window in their gut at some point. Good to hear from you, IJ. Thanx 4 the post, DG. Hadn't seen that until now.

It's amazing how people come out together to speak and reveal such hatred and disrepect. This is a product of a nation that has tried to hide behind the face of a man with integrity to stand for a people, Dr.Martin Luther King. We progressed to live among people but we "never have been truly received as a people, a nation within this nation. This country must be real with the issues within it for this nation to be healed. Racism for some is as deep as their skin. We as a nation are a joke to other countries, America that is. Always trying to be the police with violence within our own walls. We must rise and take our own place in this world as a people. There will be revilers when Jesus return that lets us know the foolish, ignorance and brash will be among us. We must just continue as we always has as a people and say and do "And Yet I Rise.

After watching this video the only thing that comes to mind is ignorance.

Lesley, that's funny. "I will say it again, oppinions are like a-holes, everyone's got one, and they usually stink." I say this A LOT and have said it several times on these boards. I think I heard it for the first time from a college professor over 15 years ago and it has stuck with me. That is SO FUNNY. And kewl, too.

This vid really tripped me out because it proves that despite how nonsensical and inflammatory it is, there are people out there who are grabbing a hold of it and holding on for dear life!!!! It's a little scary. I'm praying for Obama and his family...and their safety.

Thanks for posting, Leslley. Have a wonderful day!!! ;-)

MJ, I know it's a trip that ANYONE 18 years or older can vote. ...no matter the psychology or pathology...if you're 18 or over and haven't committed a serious crime, you can vote. In one way, it's a curse, but in another, it's a blessing.

You'd better bet if they modified the law to include strigent qualifications, a whole lot black folk and other minorities would be loopholed out of voting rights. It's definitely food for thought, MJ, which I can always count on you to give.

Vernell, thanks for posting. I agree. Many other countries do believe America is a joke. We've got war going on right here on our own soil that has not ever and will probably never be fully addressed yet alone remedied. These people left a really raunchy taste in my mouth. A part of me sat there in disbelief really at just how...well...dumb...most of them seem. It's sad. And this is a part of the population that will choose our next president. Wow. Just wow.

Blessings...

I couldn't get through the whole thing. I'm too tired to deal with ignorant people right now.

I agree with you Mr. Johnson. Once you scratch at the veneer of tolerance, you see that the USA hasn't really changed as much as we would like to think.

We can take a lesson from the Beatitudes and pray for our enemies. Of course we will pray for the Obama family, but the danger for us is to harden our hearts. We can pray for the darkness to be lifted from the ignorant, God knows there are many who fit that category, including myself in some areas. Fear and ignorance causes people to make impoverished decisions which affect us all and since we truly are all in this together, let us grow into love and above tolerance. Jesus said, Father forgive them for they know not what they do." That was a statement of unconditional love.

Well said, BD! It's deffinitely big enough to be a God thing, so what we need to do is pray! Let God do the rest. Unconditional Love is sorely needed! I am with you! GB

That's true, BD. Praying for my enemies is automatic (at least for me and my house). It's still very disturbing to get a clear view that as Dr. Hines said, "USA hasn't really changed as much as we would like to think."

And you're also right that there's a little darkness in all of us because we're all capable of sin on some level (or not on SOME level because sin is sin). I love this statement: "Fear and ignorance causes people to make impoverished decisions which affect us all..." Alrighty then. I am not sure though that these folk don't know what they're doing. Some folk know EXACTLY what they're doing and are all too happy to do it. I'll pray for them all the same, but everybody ain't in the dark about their actions. Some folk are just content to hate or extremely dislike other folk just because. It's sad, but we've all seen it and probably experienced it at least once in our lives. The folk in this video, except for maybe the man at the end, don't seem even a little interested in making an informed decision or rethinking their stances and it's both sad and scary to me. I'm just like, "Wow, are they serious?"

Then it hits me. They ARE. :-(

Blessings...
