TENNESSE STATE BEEKEEPERS CONFERENCE--OCTOBER 17 -18, 2008:
The Tennessee State Beekeepers are havin a conference. Sorry folks, Winnie-the-Pooh will not be showin up!
These fancy beekeepers are X-perts AND will be traveling from all parts of Tennessee to talk about their fa-vo-riite subject! BEES.! How to keep them, and information loaded how to even start’ in yo own beekeeping buzzing business or hobby. The Conference will take place two days, Friday and Saturday. BE show …TO .BE on time. Conferring starts round 7.am and asts, Oops, I meant lasts...all day ‘til around at 6p.m. I reckon, there will BE a FEE of $40.00…..or maybe some registration required too. THE 13TH ARLINGTON BARBEQUE BURNOUT--OCTOBER 17-18, 2008--ARLINGTON, TENNESSEE
Where is Arlington, Tennessee?….I don’t know …‘ Xactly? Just follow the smoke to Douglas Road Park. It’s not too far from Memphis though. Anyhow, they will be cooking it up and burn it down! This event starts at 5:00pm and winds up at 11p.m. If you show up--- “you don’t have to pay any-thang” This is free meat! I guess? But…. there will be a little selling goin on. Vendors will be there along with plenty of games and music! Ever heard of the group …TWIN SOUL? Why two souls is always better than one I’d say! I know my Rith-me-tic! If you needs to know bout reading words….“Hey Dee!, can hook you up with that phobia word :Hippomataawhatayoumacallit !” Yep! She’s gottem! (Smiles!) Gone on out thar and have some fun! You’ll love being outdoors! I hope it don’t rain on’ ya…if it does you know how to run don’t ya!

GIRLS INC. 5-K RACE--OCTOBER 17, 2008-Memphis, TN
Girls, Inc. is part of a National Organization of Girls and teens ages between 6 and 18. This great race is and cause focuses attention on the characters and development of all girls! They assist in counseling prevention of teen-pregnancy, to peer pressures and other things only girls know bout. “Sugar, and spice, and ev’thing nice.“ They’ll havin a race on Friday to raise funds for this great group of girls. Put on your tennis shoes and run five miles at TOBY PARK at Central Street and Hollywood. I’m not goin,… but I’m sure it’ll be a fine time. There’s a running star! Some.. someone whose fame us! … to show up…Activities and fun. Bring your registration fees… Pre-registritraon $16 and same day of the race is $20. For more about this race….see this web site:

When’s A doll a DOLL?….
When’s she’s a Southern Belles DOLL!
THE SOUTHERN BELLES DOLL SHOW--OCTOBER 18-19, 2008 9 a.m.- -4 p.m.
I’ve got to be there! Why this here is where the DOLLS are….“If yours truly doesn’t show up, I won’t be abel to put those other dolls to shame!” This great fabulous show of dolls will be at The ArgiCenter, Walnut Grove Road, in Memphis, of course where all the Southern Belles roam…It features hundreds of beautiful dolls. Antique dolls, as well as doll furniture , and doll houses. It’s all doll town!. The show will have “home sewn dolls“, with arts and crafts in quilting and lots of “Southern Belles” delights. I was told by the Southern Lady over the phone; that absolutely any true Southern Belles should attend. The admission fees are $5.00 for Adults, and $1.00 for the chill’ wren. Like I said, “I’ve got to be thar, since I am a collector of dolls, preferring miniature dolls, of course!” You see, we gals have lots of calibur…and I will bring my parasol to strutt my stuff in front of any Southern gents who’ll be around. “Did you have something in your eyes?” It’s a doll! It’s me, your Southern Belle. “My smiles will be bright, and I’ll be looking out-of sight!”
“Well, it’s time for me to bring this little issue of news to it’s close” “I’ll need another tissue please, to wipe my nose…O’ a poetess life is such high- -fashioned” …“A…Humm…What’s your style, honey?” Hey, Marta! I’ll be strolling over by the Beekeepers’ booth. Hey, Marta! I just may find a stud…I mean A sting! ….. a.."Nebber mind"
