Fear is either knocking on your door right now or it will be very soon. I know it may sound like a negative confession or I'm wishing something bad on you. I'm probably the biggest supporter of your dreams so allow me a few more seconds to share something from my heart with you. Martin Lawrence once said "That no one is exempt from life's trials and tribulations." So that includes you. Scripture even reminds that trouble will come but it also reminds us constantly to "Be Not Afraid."
Fear will tempt you! Trouble will come! Just because trouble comes does not mean it will overcome you. I have several tips I would like to share with you but I will share only one with you today. Then I want you to allow my mentor who wrote a powerful foreword in my book inspire you to greatness.
After reading my book my mentor the world renowned motivational speaker and best selling author, Mr Les Brown, said this about my new book "When Things Go Wrong, Don't Go With Them":
"This is a time that we need this message- when there is hope in the future that gives you power in the present- and that’s what Chris has given us: hope and methods and techniques to build our faith and live our lives from the inside out."
You have comeback power! You have the ability feel the fear and live your dreams anyway. Here is the tip for you to make it through any challenge when fear is tempting you to quit.
Tip: Develop A Strong "WHY" Statement
Why do you show up at work or your business everyday? Who benefits from the long hard hour you put in becoming successful? What kind of dreams and goals do you have? How important is it for you to accomplish your desires?
These are just a few questions to get you started but there are much more to help get to the real reasons why you fight for your dreams everyday. I'm not looking for a surface answer. I'm looking for a response from you that when things go wrong you can read your statement and it will cause you to rise up against the challenge.
Write your "WHY" statement on a 3x5 card and carry it with you daily. Listen to this brief clip from my mentor Les Brown that will help you with writing down some reasons why you won't quit. After listening you can visit www.ChrisGloss.com to get your copy of my new book.
