T.D.’s Guideline for a successful "You" in Relationships.. 1..
1. The only difference in happy couples and unhappy ones is, the happy ones learned some lesson (or an understanding) that help them have a better life together. TRUE COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY?
2. When you are having problems with your mate, first figure out your part in the situation before pointing fingers. This can reduce things being said out of anger. Because saying things out of anger only puts you and your mate in a new situation. The situation of you attacking them and them reacting back to the negative energy you put out towards them. The outcome only ends up with you two tearing one another down.
3. Don't loose yourself in a relationship, you will resent the other person for it later. You are the only you, you have!!! Remember that, because if you don't protect what's made you love you and hold your head high with respect for finding yourself; and you give that up for an undeserving person.Then what do you have left???
4. "External Change" is you trying to change other people, which in a relationship is very unhealthy. What you should be doing in a relationship is "Internal Change" which is trying to change the "you" within yourself. Trust me when you work on that, you'll truly see your mate and yourself for the first time. Wow, now that's a healthy relationship in: The Bare Nakedness of it all!!!
5. CALLING ALL MEN!!! Take the time to talk to your woman, not listen to her talk!! Engage her in a conversation that interests the both of you; bring her into your world. Trust me, she would love to be there. Next guys, you have to give your woman a massage without being asked!!! You too will be surprised where the massage will lead the two of you." Get what I'm saying"??? lol
6. CALLING ALL WOMEN!!! Give your man the chance to romance you the way he knows how. No matter how dull you may think he is when it comes to romance. When you see that's he's trying, don't count him out as a lost. Because that's potential staring you right dead in your eyes and if you take a real look you'll see all he needs is a little polishing off!!! "Get the picture"!!!
