Kimberly V. Taylor, M.Ed.’s Biography

Kimberly V. Taylor, M.Ed. defines herself as a Christian, an educator and an entrepreneur. Kimberly accepted Christ early in her life and was baptised at the age of fifteen. She was baptised at Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church under Dr. Rev. E. Theopolis Caviness. Kimberly has spent most of her life teaching students inside and outside of the classroom. She is a former Cleveland Municipal School teacher. Besides being the Founder and President of Young Men With A Purpose, she is President and CEO of The Vernette Company. The Vernette Company is a multicultural resource center for teachers, parents, and students.
Kimberly has Two Masters degrees in Education. One Master Degree
Adult Learning and Development and the other Master is in Curriculum and Instruction. Kimberly received her bachelor of science from Kent State University.
Kimberly puts God first in her life because without God nothing in life is possible.
Kimberly is a member at Bethlehem Temple C.O.G.I.C. Her mother is very important person in her life. There is not anything that she cannot talk to her mother about and her mother has inspired her all of her life to all be the best. Kimberly V. Taylor’s mother raised her as a single parent. Her late aunt, Eleanor Harris was like a second mother to her as well. She had inspired Kimberly to be the best and achieve high. She passed in November 11, 2006.
Kimberly is a business woman and collaborates with the following businesses: Thom-Lin Irrigations and Hope House Shelter. She was recently featured on the cable show Incidences and Call and Post Newspaper: CP2. She writes under the pen name Kim Eddge and writes inspirational poetry.
Last point that she would like to leave everyone with is this quote from a famous person.” Without confidence you are twice defeated in the race of life. With confidence you have won before you have started.” This quote is by Marcus Garvey.

Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
I am concerned about young African American boys going to jail. It starts in school with suspension and expulsion. I am concerned about education and AIDS in the Black Community. I define myself as a youth advocate. I have a business called All Good Closet that donates all year round to students in the form of school supplies, winter clothing, and formal attire. i am a primary caregiver to my mother. My mother is in remission of breast cancer.
