I agree with you...there should be more folks with concern about our young people in the prison system.....I've been there and it's not pretty...many many black brother's in the system are abandoned by family and friends ...and then they're abused by the predominately young white correctional officers....in ways that are unimaginable.....and when they return they're bitter and damaged from the experience!!!! Yes both my Dad and my baby ther was murdered in the streets and the killer of my Dad....whom shot him 5 times only got 3 years for the crime...I believe that it was then that i lost all respect for the justice system in america and I've spent of time in prison for alot less......
