I was not born as a U. S citizen.. 12 years ago I moved from the Caribbean to Los Angeles to attend University. I have no previous knowledge/history of racism or black on black crime nor the lack of opportunities.( where I came from was and is black run totally) My life changed completely.. I got married to my college sweetheart who was black and from that moment, my color became an issue. This is still new to me and living as black man with the independence of a human experienced in my country of origin. I find it hard to comprehend the way of life of blacks in America and I will really like to get a grasp on the whole issue. I need help understanding black,because I am prejudged by my color and I am not even aware of it.

Hey Eddie, I am trying to transfer to The Art Institute of Los Angeles to finish my Bachelors Degree in Digital Media Production/Digital Filmmaking & Video Production and I would love if you could sorta assist me in breaking into the TV/Film industry. I am a former employee of Black Entertainment Television until they were bought out by Viacom and my career has NOT been the same. So now my son is 18 yrs old and will soon be leaving for Virginia STate University to study Pre-Med Chemistry so I am very very proud BUT I am also very thrilled that I can now get back to my Business of breaking into my career now that I have successfully raised my son.
