Q&A With Antre Drummer

what is the dream you wish to see become reality and what are you doing daily to make it possible?
"Wow... Charity I definetely must say that I have so many, but the first thing that came to mind was my church family. I wanna see the youth become engaged in church, engaged in pursuing education, and not just allowing time to past them by. I'm constantly searching for ways to help the youth become active and motivated to pursue bigger and better things. I can't wait for the day that my church family multiracial. Another dream of mine is to have my own drama studio to produce and perform my stage plays. I write and share my ideas all the time. Just to the see smallest smile on the smallest face is food for my soul. :-) Thanks for the interview Charity."

Why are Black quick 2 complain and slow 2 support?
"We have lost our grass roots... our fore fathers (Fredrick Douglass, W.E.B Dubois, M.L. King Jr.) saw problems and fought for ways of change. We have become spoiled in depending on government to solve our problems and not wanting to step out on our 2 feet!"

"My passion... Acting is my passion... actually i was kinda hesitant about writing my passion because it's already written all over your page and my eyes were like "wow"... I love acting there's so much to be expressed in acting, in many ways words alone can't dream to express. "

About   (request update)
I'm 22 years old, born in a poor country town in south GA. Victim of domestic abuse but that's no excuse. Because i'm well on my way to making my dreams come true. I'll be the first in my family to graduate from college. I love acting and love children. These two I embrace. I'm active in my church because God allowed my church to mold a sturdy foundation in mylife. Yes like the typical teenager I tried going astray but my foundation was sturdy and stood fast through my storms. I'm presently a junior at Georgia Southern University Majoring in Mathematics and Mass Communication. I would continue but I would also like to know you so I shall stop here.

My BlackInAmerica.com Profile
Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
The simple fact that at the present time our economy is in a slowdown is a genuine concern, but also the number of young black teens that I see each and everyday with completing high school alone as there ultimate goal is extremely disturbing to me. I was raised being told what i wouldn't be able to achieve but I didn't and won't allow that to stop me. I wish to install hope in our young black boys that... hey you can stand up and be a man, yes you can stand up and be a father, husband, and provider. You can live without financial stress. It's not obsolete. You have people who care for you and are willing to go that extra mile for you to succeed.

I am so proud that you represent America's/the Earth's future. I to learn and an am also encouraged by you; and also your age as you have entered a much different world than I did. The wepons used today are far different than we used to fight for Civil and God (and higher power of choice)given rights of all living things and peoples. We did not have the computer/internet as you do today.Thank you.

Hi Antre, Follow your passion. You may not know how acting and mathematics will come together but they will some how. Everything we do helps us get where we're headed. I don't mean to sound "deep" but its true. Don't let anything stand in your way and don't compromise your values. Thanks for connecting with me. Proud to know you!
