Q&A With Euroclydon D.

do you need capital?
"Yes. I need capitol. I recently moved back into the community of my youth after separation 1968 - 2005. A few dynamic changes have occured that make it a sign but from God to me that my/ his timing is right. I need immediate capitol and investing capitol that will assist me in my 501c3 costs, first 1yrs. rent on an office at $360. per month and supplies that will generate income that will be invested right back into my business...a Hair Studio that will provide my income while I sit on the board of a baby that will add to what my community is doing in opening District A of an arts community here in Mid - Cincinnati, Ohio: Kennedy Heights Ohio. Home of the Kennedy Heights Arts Center and Ballet Tech Cincinnati...both begun by core members who are influential African Americans of age that thought better than to leave their youth behind...folk like me who love them dearly. My center will complement their efforts speaking well of age, youth and authentic efforts. Can you help me? I have began a recycling program to match your giving on 10/10/2008 with the permission of the CEO of "BTC". I call it "Go Green with Ballet Tech Cincinnati (BTC)". I think that this will be a wonderful opportunity to build a relationship ongoing with RONA. One of our contributors is a performer who dances for and with us named Flora Leptak-Moreou. She is a dancer from the Dominican Republic. I would love for you to meet her. Lettie. BIA pen: Euroclydon."

What in your life is most significant?
"The fact that my dad identified with his mom just as well as his dad. My daddy and his dad were of the same hue...a walnut color. My dad's mom was honey, ivory or vanilla in hue. Both my dad and his older brother liked their own long, silky hair...it reminded them of their mom. All four of them stood. "Stand..." says Bootsie Collins. If all you can do is just "Stand...stand" his song lyrics say. Euroclydon"

Interviewed by Annette Colbert-Latham 08/15/08

What one thing would you like to change in the world?
"The point system. What would utopia look like then? No currency just work for a living. No prices just exchange as needed. Storing and stocking up yes with lots of pats on backs, gratuities and so forth. Everyone has according to their own wants, desires and or needs. Everyone is happy with what each other has then... I would not care if you excel then I would be happy for you in any event of excellence. I would not hinder you in your way with life either but would celebrate what you have done with life in comparison to what I have done or would do with life... What models exist for contemplation on such a thing as "My Utopia"? Just brainstorming. Euroclydon"

Are you concerned about the financial health ofour people?
"Yes. Here in Cincinnati many have done that all are benefiting from. I too would like to do something great. If I can save my own financial picture and scope on things I will have done something I think. My goal is to become a millionaire in 5 years. I want to be invested at 1 million in 5 years. What word do you have for me in my quest? How can you help me? Euroclydon thx in advance!"

Interviewed by Regina Partee 08/14/08

If you were banned from the United States and you have to leave today, what country would you go to live in - and why?
"Isn't this an interesting question. I would go straight to Switzerland or Canada. I have friends in each of those places. Euroclydon...that like black people. As a matter of fact...I'm just a lover of God to them. No color. Lots of color. Recognition. Privacy...no recognition. Just cool breezes. Diggin it...(smile)"

Interviewed by Dante Lee 08/14/08

Can you be happy for me?
"Hi. My undergrad is an Associates in Graphic Design. My BA began at the College of Design Art and Architecture here in Cincinnati (U.C.) and I completed in the year 2002...writing and research...art and design. I began work on my Masters in the area of Ed Technology after a 5 year stint as a substitute teacher. I know a little bit about what you are doing and are into...I worked as an Artist Producer for the Weather Channel located in Smyrna, Geogia at the time (1982-1984) creating on-air graphics, videos and shorts for staff meteorologists...Euroclydon Can I be happy? Can I be happy. Euroclydon"

Interviewed by Jerry Craft 08/14/08

What is your gift to the world?
"Hey...the Mallory family here in Cincinnati, Ohio have recently begun simultany work for Ohio. Mark Mallory is our Mayor and his brother serves in Columbus to date I think. Their dad served as senator for a number of years. What an encouragement it is for me to 'run into you' on the web at the BIA portal young leader! My gift to the world??? I am my dad's gift to the world. I come at it just as I am. My siblings are just as impressive. Euroclydon"

Interviewed by Jon C. 08/14/08

What is your motivation?
"My motivation is my art. My art is. I can not make any better of my people than what they are but I can motivate them to do the things that they need to do in order to make necessary. It is necessary to make a list, prioritize that list and count the cost of that list at the end of one's day. Assess, evaluate and call it a night but don't sleep on anger. Kneel and sleep on your knees all night long if necessary! My siblings, high school chums and others are bread winners, 6 figure income employees and multimillionaires. Its my time and I know it. I want to be invested at 1 million in 5 years. How can we help one another? What is it to patronize one another on a regular basis? What is consistancy? What is it to budget a friend in? Euroclydon"

Interviewed by Rey Harris 08/14/08

WHAT DOES FRIENDSHIP MEAN TO YOU?
"That is a question that I recently posed to my group! Thanks for asking. A friend is an amigo. An amigo is right down the the finite definition of what it is or may be to be a friend to someone. If I were your friend it would be can I be your friend on a daily basis I guess. A friend is a person that places membership at the BIA web portal of friendship! A friend is what any of the members at BIA are!! A friend is a friend. Simple math!!! Euroclydon"

My BlackInAmerica.com Profile
Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
Black America is a miracle. Its a wonder that black america still exists. I am concerned about curriculum, learning and how educational psychological tools are used in classrooms. For instance, why motivate a learner who is obviously motivated? What has that person to learn about motivation? What could that person be learning instead of motivation, motivating and how to motivate? ...and Why teach a teacher who isn't interested in learning??? We are in the kind of trouble that only the likes of who can help us with what? I call on the name of Jesus. But I believe that if I were raised a Hindu the name of Gahndi would be just fine a name to call upon. lad 8/2008

Lettie, YOur suggestions that we journal our observations is commendable and ar present is being done by many of us here. But the sad truth is our culture is less interested in journals or published work, they are interested in microwavable meals, gas prices, 28 inch rims and living in a fairy tell were riches are spent but no earned. Your cap and gown suggest a degree or graduation from a school of higher learning, but our strenght came from a place of lower learning, a place withing that connected our people to endure untold brutality as we built this country. so how would your journal or a published work detailing our strenghts redirect us to the center of who we once were? You and I are both from Ohio and the family centered structure that existed in the 60's, 70's and 80's when I was there still exist today... So "our" people there have a shorter distance to travel to return to the center of US, but what of our family that was dispersed and left to travel in foreign countries whereby they seen themselves hung from trees, dragged behing Ford F150's, or burned to death? We have a responsibility to bring our families back home and enlighten them to who they once were/ I say we were Kings and Queens.. the Original people on this planet... Others says Gods and Goddess regardless of the term we as a people are in fact losing ourselves and those of us that observe this lost must do all we can be any means necessary to bring our families home. I welcome your input, knowledge, voice, tears, prayers and strength as we go out to brings us back to the center of who we really are. very respectfully
