Ella D. Curry is the owner and CEO of EDC Creations, a marketing and branding firm in Prince George’s County Maryland, publisher of the Black Pearls Magazine, Black Authors Network radio show producer, Internet publicist and literary advocate. She is also the founder of Sankofa Literary Society which empowers independent and/or self-published authors through mentoring programs, Internet workshops, marketing and brand coaching. The Sankofa Literary Society sponsors the popular Black Authors Network radio program which offers new authors a chance to showcase their books and articles on Internet radio, on the Sankofa Literary Society’s site, along with book and branding coaching that will help them present themselves as professionals as they enter literary circles. Ella seeks to provide authors a diverse selection of programs to showcase their talents and see their dreams of being published become reality.
Ella D. Curry’s graphic design work and presentations has been showcased in boardrooms of companies such as Pzier Corp., Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Dell and currently BP. She was instrumental in establishing the marketing and promotions plans, for the new mediations firm TAG & Associates and the non-profit The Environmental Justice League; both based in Atlanta/Houston, as their website developer, business coach and primary designer for their mass marketing and direct mail promotional campaign. She has built a diverse portfolio of graphic designs for new business owners and authors. Most importantly, she has been able to realize her dream, of owning her own graphic design firm, catering to the literary and arts community.
Ella lives in Prince George’s County Maryland with daughter. She is busy promoting Black Pearls Magazine and the Black Authors Network Radio Show. When Ella is not working, she loves to create custom signature tags, and chatting in Internet groups with her international friends. As her entrepreneurial spirit guides the way upward, Ella continues to involve herself in challenging, life enhancing projects.
