Why Are You Concerned About Black America:

I have the effects that racism and limited opportunities have on us through my mother's and father's experience. Those effects led to my father's death at a relatively young age and my mother's financial struggles for the last ten years; those realities have impacted my life in ways I never thought possible...good and bad. I am working hard to have more for my life and to help my family have more for their lives, and I want more for my nieces and one day for my children if I have any.
