"Sedition - Treason, What's The Difference?"
Gregory V. Boulware

Is it not true that Our President has been Vilified by the media, politicians, supremacists, and other "Obama Haters?" How long will "WE THE PEOPLE" allow this degrading and heinous travesty to continue? Where is Law Enforcement? Is it possible that a sitting "Commander In Chief" can be bombarded with insults and character assassinations in open forum and not face prosecutorial proceedings?

I wonder... Is it because he is Black? Would this type of behavior be tolerated if he were white? I think not! Why is the American Public so complacent with this American behavior - why do we allow this to happen? I can recall when no one would believe that a man, a good man - who has done nothing but good in the face of detriment, would ever be able to win the nomination; let alone the Presidency. Both white and Black Folks shared this ideology.

Do you remember what was on his plate when he took this job? What benefits have you received from this Human Being (this man's administration, his being in office) - "A PEOPLES PRESIDENT?"

Let us take a moment and examine the difference between Sedition and Treason:

In law, sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization that is deemed by the legal authority to tend toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority. Sedition may include any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws. Seditious words in writing are seditious libel. A seditionist is one who engages in or promotes the interests of sedition.

Typically, sedition is considered a subversive act, and the overt acts that may be prosecutable under sedition laws vary from one legal code to another. Where the history of these legal codes has been traced, there is also a record of the change in the definition of the elements constituting sedition at certain points in history. This overview has served to develop a sociological definition of sedition as well, within the study of state persecution.

The difference between sedition and treason consists primarily in the subjective ultimate object of the violation to the public peace. Sedition does not consist of levying war against a government or of adhering to its enemies, giving enemies aid, and giving enemies comfort. Nor does it consist, in most representative democracies, of peaceful protest against a government, nor of attempting to change the government by democratic means (such as direct democracy or constitutional convention).

Sedition is the stirring up of rebellion against the government in power. Treason is the violation of allegiance to one's sovereign or state, giving aid to enemies, or levying war against one's state. Sedition is encouraging one's fellow citizens to rebel against their state, whereas treason is actually betraying one's country by aiding and abetting another state. Sedition laws somewhat equate to terrorism and public order laws.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In law, treason is the crime that covers some of the more extreme acts against one's sovereign or nation. Historically, treason also covered the murder of specific social superiors, such as the murder of a husband by his wife. Treason against the king was known as high treason and treason against a lesser superior was petty treason. A person who commits treason is known in law as a traitor.

Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as "...[a]...citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]." In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt or conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavor.

Outside legal spheres, the word "traitor" may also be used to describe a person who betrays (or is accused of betraying) their own political party, nation, family, friends, ethnic group, team, religion, social class, or other group to which they may belong.

Often, such accusations are controversial and disputed, as the person may not identify with the group of which they are a member, or may otherwise disagree with the group leaders making the charge. See, for example, race traitor.

At times, the term "traitor" has been leveled as a political epithet, regardless of any verifiable treasonable action. In a civil war or insurrection, the winners may deem the losers to be traitors. Likewise the term "traitor" is used in heated political discussion – typically as a slur against political dissidents, or against officials in power who are perceived as failing to act in the best interest of their constituents. In certain cases, as with the German Dolchstoßlegende, the accusation of treason towards a large group of people can be a unifying political message.

In English law, high treason was punishable by being hanged, drawn and quartered (men) or burnt at the stake (women), or beheading (royalty and nobility). Treason was the only crime, which attracted those penalties (until they were abolished in 1814, 1790 and 1973 respectively). [1] The penalty was used by later monarchs against people who could reasonably be called traitors, although most modern jurists would call it excessive. Many of them would now just be considered dissidents.

In William Shakespeare's play King Lear (circa 1600), when the King learns that his daughter Regan has publicly dishonored him, he says They could not, would not do 't; 'tis worse than murder: a conventional attitude at that time. In Dante Alighieri's

Inferno, the ninth and lowest circle of Hell is reserved for traitors; Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus, suffers the worst torments of all: being constantly gnawed at by one of Lucifer's own three mouths. His treachery is considered so notorious that his name has long been synonymous with traitor, a fate he shares with Benedict Arnold, Marcus Junius Brutus (who too is depicted in Dante's Inferno, suffering the same fate as Judas along with Cassius Longinus), and Vidkun Quisling. Indeed, the etymology of the word traitor originates with Judas' handing over of Jesus to the Roman authorities: the word is derived from the Latin traditor, which means "one who delivers."[2] Christian theology and political thinking until after the Enlightenment considered treason and blasphemy as synonymous, as it challenged both the state and the will of God. Kings were considered chosen by God and to betray one's country was to do the work of Satan.

I am most gratiful of thy acceptance to the attempt of delivering truth.

When is enough enough? The so-called politicians are WAY OUT OF HAND - making statements that are untrue; stirring up hatred with Incendiary accusations of who we should believe to be the ENEMY!

Do you all remember the last time these hypocrites boasted of "Weapons of Mass Destruction?"

We, as Black People Know Who The Enemy Is! We As Poor and Working Class People Know Who The Enemy Is!

And they will attempt to lead us around by the nose, yoke, and chain...

If We Allow Them To Do So!

Peace and Love,

Just Because He's Black

A white man asked his black friend, 'Are you voting for Barack Obama just because he's black?'

The black man responded by saying, 'Why not? Hell, in this country men
Are pulled over everyday just cause They're black; passed over for Promotions just cause they're black; Considered to be criminals just Cause they're black; and thousands of you Won't be voting for him just because he's Black!

However, you do not Seem to have a problem with that! This country Was built with the sweat And whip off the black slaves' back, and now a Descendant of those same Slaves has a chance to lead the same country, Where we weren't even Considered to be people, where we weren't allowed To be educated, drink
From the same water fountains, eat in the same Restaurants, or even

So yes! I'm going to vote for him! But it's Not just because he's Black, but because he is hope, he is change, and he Now allows me to Understand when my grandson says that he wants to be President when he Grows up, it is not a fairy tale but a short term goal.

He now sees, Understands and knows that he can achieve, withstand and do
ANYTHING just because he's black.

"Sedition - Treason, What's the Difference?"

I don't think ya'll get it...do you?

I wonder how many of you recognize the danger that exists regarding our future. Do you realize that we will always be the target of bigots and superiority proponents? Are we to continually be subject to secondary, secular, and double-standard rules and regulations? Have you ever wondered why the rules are always changed when a person of color DOES SOMETHING GOOD FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE?

Take another look:

"Woman at gun range event tells Santorum to Pretend It's Obama"
By John Hoeffel
March 23, 2012

Santorum also touched on another comment that hurt him. Just before the Illinois primary, he said he didn’t care about the unemployment rate when he was trying to make the point that his campaign was about bigger issues.

The former senator, who boasts that he is from the part of Pennsylvania where President Obama said people “cling to guns or religion,” began his last day campaigning in Louisiana by picking up a Colt 45 and emptying two magazines into a circular target.

“What I was able to exercise was one of those fundamental freedoms that’s guaranteed in our Constitution, the right to bear arms.”

A woman in the audience suggested, “Pretend it’s Obama,” unnerving the Secret Service. Santorum later said he did not hear the comment.

"Marine sergeant faces discipline for Facebook critique of Obama"
By Marty Graham

The Marine Corps has initiated disciplinary action against a Marine sergeant for comments he posted on his "Armed Forces Tea Party" Facebook page criticizing President Barack Obama.

"There is not a document in this world that trumps the United States Constitution," the San Diego Union-Tribune quoted him as saying.

"The Marines accused him of making statements about the president that are prejudicial to good order and discipline, in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice."

"He posted political statements about the president of the United States on his Facebook web page titled 'Armed Forces Tea Party."

"I say screw Obama. I will not follow orders given by him to me."

The comment in question has since been removed, and Stein said he could not remember it precisely.

"The ACLU strongly supports the First Amendment rights of service members to discuss and critique the government's policies and conduct."

Yes it's true that we all have freedom of speech...

But is it right to say something that degrades one (or a group) while shinning for another? Yes we have that "First Amendment Right!"

But just because we have the right to say something, doesn't make it right to say.

The BIG VOTE is coming soon - In Pennsylvania, you'll need to have State ID's...don't sit around and wait for someone to fix the rule - to return it to its normal and fair state of disperesment operations. If it takes a bus to get them ID's and transportation to the poles...well, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Let's Get On The Bus!"

“Sedition – Treason, What’s The Difference?”
Gregory V. Boulware

I appreciated the article....as for most of the idiots commenting: FIRST AMENDMENT, A-HOLES!

Trump may be arrogant....
Quote of the week: Lord Christopher Monckton: "The left hate Democracy because, every so often, it allows someone else a turn at the levers of government". How true is that! Like many people, I'm sick to death of the Obamination...

For those not up on why Trump was elected, it's that Americans are sick of: all the lies, gays having more rights than Christians, laws being ignored, voter fraud, Muslims being flown in with the inevitable terrorists in their midst, more voter fraud, more lies, students not learning anything while wracking up debts the rest of the population will end up paying for, communist-leaning news agencies who quote Hollywood as though they actually know enough to comment on politics (most are totally clueless) and publishing obviously bogus news stories designed to undermine the 2d Amendment (i.e. the crime of Sedition), trillions more in debt and wasteful spending, criminals in government getting away with everything up to and including murder, a P.O.S. POTUS who ignores Congress, more lies, the IRS and EPA used to harass political opponents, thugs beating up people in the streets for exercising their Constitutional rights of free speech and voting for the candidate of their choice, unaffordable medical care....

A change of leadership is LONG overdue!

Thank You 'Foxnclo':

While I certainly understand, accept, and appreciate 'Foxnclo's' comment; I have abbreviated the content of the posting due to the insulting quality of remarks aimed at 'OUR Sitting President.' We shall be respectful of Our Brother and his Spouse while being critical of any and all governmental entities. I respect the views and opinions of all, as long as they remain totally respectful and being non-insulting. Therefore, I have respectfully allowed the partial comment of this reader/viewer for all to bear witness.

Perhaps you may have a comment or two regarding this timeline of circumstances?

Come On In!

Many Thanks to All Who Have Viewed This Article.
