CLEAN UP OURSELVES

Blessings & Salutations !

Washing clothing, washing cars, washing dishes, washing walls, and washing our bodies. These all indicate ways to clean up. We normally use water in any are all the ones I've mentioned. These are the exterior of things, but inside many of us are still not washed and remain dirty. Inside and outside we serve idols and spend more time serving things of the flesh and things of pleasures. We have filthy hearts, minds and unclean spirits. In the gospel we are told to clean ouselves, washing our temples and to render God a pure heart and a clean service of spirit within ourselves. God gives us promises that He will dwell and walk with us if we are willing to separate ourselves from things that are unclean.

And what agreement has the temple of God
with idols.
For you are the temple of the living God.
"As God has said:
I will dwell in them..
and walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people."
Therefore
"Come out from among them
and be separate, says the Lord.
And I will receive you."
"I will be a father to you.
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty."
[2 Corinthians 6: 16-18]

Therefore having these promises, beloved let
us CLEANSE OURSELVES from all filthiness of the
flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
[2 Corinthians 7: 1]

Your body is God's temple, but he will not dwell in you if are unclean.
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
