November 4, 2008. The Day. (899 hits)

Tomorrow I will be part of the Voter Protection Lawyers team, serving as an interpreter in a heavily Hispanic district. I am also on call as an interpreter for New Mexico.

I have blogged before that "God is the Best Knower." "Toot's" passing is a sign. To try and figure out what it is is to challenge God's mercy, and wisdom . I am anxious but also at peace.

Obama's people have called me 10 times these past few days. I wish that I could clone myself, so I could be here, there and everywhere. But I can't. So I sat still. I will pray for this country, for my friends, for my family and for myself,then go to sleep and place my cares on HIM. May God Bless all of you as you go to the Polls. May He gently lay HIS hand on your shoulder and guide your actions.

I sign indeed, because she (Toot) felt at peace enough to let go because she already knew who the president would be (smiles). Funny thing about God, He will give you a glimpse into the future. I am peaceful and I have been for some time now, because I know, too who that man is. Thanks for this blog and I do wish that we could clone more of you.

Everything happens for a reason...I chanted(prayed) extra for Obama's grandmother every day since I heard his sister talk about how much she meant to her and her brother after the death of their mother early in this campaign. I did not know that Toot had cancer until today therefore I will repeat that every thing happens for a reason!

Today speaking about his grandmother's death he reminded me of Jackie Kennedy when her husband died. As I was young at this time, I was upset when I did not see Mrs. Kennedy cry ! I now know just how much strength it takes to hold on when others are depending so, so much on your strength !It is my belief that even governments are now praying that this man gets into the Whitehouse in order to give them back somuch hope that has been lost.
