If you are honest then 99.999 percent of the people reading this will say NO. Why? Because wealth is not dictated by anyone else but yourself. It is dictated by decisions that you have made. Either you decided to take a chance at something that would give you financial security or you didn't. You took the time to locate and to learn how to see emerging trends and get in front of them or you didn't. You took action to capitalize on those opportunities or you didn't.
If you are affected by this economy then what I have to say next may be hard to swallow for a few of you but ask yourself this question. Why do some people make money in a recession while others lose money, struggle and fail? Now I know that you have just come up with your best reason but the answer is much more simple than you may think.
People struggle and are affected by a recession because they did not see what was coming and they did not prepare themselves for what might happen IF their current job disappeared. They refused to take advantage of or even investigate opportunities that could have prevented themselves and family from being affected by an economic downturn or loss of a job.
Simply put they were living a lie when they chose to rely completely on someone else in control of their destiny.
Don't get me wrong, jobs are important. They should be used to put food on the table while you build your own business. The last man fired from a company is the owner so he is the only one with job security.
Knowing what you just learned, here is the most defining questions you will ever answer in your life. Who is in control of your financial future? You or your boss? How long could your family survive without a paycheck starting today? Are you willing to look at opportunities that will put you in the driver seat of your own life so as to recession proof your life? Most importantly understand that nothing will change until you ACT!
