THE 18 ANNUAL REINDEER RACE--CHARLESTSON SC
Dec. 6, 2008--At the South Brewery
They’re off!
Not the raindeers, the people running in the race. My informint tells me this race has grown from 200 to 2,600 participans over these 18 years. How come there are so many raindeers running? It’s good, clean, charitable fun! And for that cause they breed like rabbits, they just keep showing up to run year after year! This annual event begins and ends at The South Brewery and in some part of Charleston Town. It’s sounds like a circled course for runners. “Are you getting dizzy honey?” I didn’t know you suffered from “veri-ti-go.” The event is hosted by the Half Mooners Ousiters. Ooops.. I mean Outfitters. I don’t mean to sound too ignorant, but I though mooning is usually done in the “out-house on paper….I guess?” Anyhow, join in and run the race! This charitable race helps in aiding The Children Hospital of Charleston. That just brangs rain drops of sunshine to my eyes. Those little bitty varmits will be receiving help with their medical and hospital bills, and these donations also helps them celebrate a Merry Christmas too! Visit this web addres:
www.charitablesocietyofcharleston.org OUCH! Who poked me? Why it’s my fine friend Walt. Them an’tlers look good on you. I had to take a double take. “A ummh…just clearing my throat.”
Line up now..all my friends. I’m takng ya’ll to our next destination. We’re goin to get “some-teet” and after that, it’s all shopping at the Riviera!
That lady is our tour guide for the event. Does she remind you of somebody? Just asking.

CHARLESTON, SC
Dec 06, 2008
Is you ready to end the evening with some fun? Let’s go see the boat parade. This is Charlest sixth year of this “fabulous” parade of boats. Stand out on the harbor and watch those boats go by. The lights are down right bew-ti-ful! Straight from Charles Harbor you’ll be wooing..and awwing at the view! And if you need a lil snack----while you down there, get some burgers and some roasted oysters…Yum! “ But, I’ll have pass over them oysters…I just don’t like eatin them little critters. To me they requires and “A’quiet” taste. So whens they is offered to me ..“I’m a quiet” If you know what I mean… I’ll take that pearl though!

Did I say bit…. Well I think it’s time for me to end this bit of “A Little Southern News.” Thank you ladies and gentlemen, you’ve been a wonderful reading audience! I’ll be back in ‘bout a week…till then you be sweet.” I’m still yo’ Little Southern Belle, MIISRAEL saying no offense to anybody. If you found some typo’s in the edition, it’s meant to be like that! Rudolph did not appear, he’s busy shining his nose for that foggy Christmas eve.”
TIP: Don’t drink and drive this holiday season, or any day you drink, be sure you desinate a driver. Be safe during the holidays and that’s a tip for both Ladies and Gents!
Look at that… “A cute little raindeer” What’s better than save the gift of life!
