HELP FOR HOMELESS STUDENTS:

Memphis City School Students who are homeless have been given a much needed helping hand. Students who are living in homeless shelters, or in other displaced residents will be given aid through the caring of it's on Memphis City School Supereintendant along with donations funded through the Teachers and the Memphis City Schools Teacher's Credit Union. Superindent, Dr. Khiner Cash is putting the final plans in action, by checking all the federal guidelines so that all donations will help aid needy students who meet the conflicts of belonging in a homeless family. Once the plans are complete, students will receive assistance in school supplies, food items, needed clothing and shoes and possible even finding housing for thier displaced homes. The communities of Memphis are asked to donate as well. Local residents are asked to make any donations in any amount to the local Memphis Areas Teacher's Credit Union. FIRE DESTROYS MY FORMER RESIDENT:

Earlier Sunday--12.21.2008 a blaze ripped through my former address of 238 West Norwood Avenue. The present owner of the home was not home when the fire broke out. There were no one injured, but did she did suffer a lost everything in the fire. The home owner stated she did not have fire insurance, but was planning to buy some only in the next few weeks. Presently, no donation fund has been set up for the homeower at this time. This resident was also where I lived in my childhood growing up. It has many memories for me and my family. Seeing the home destroyed touched me in writing this report.
