Israel, Jewish votes and Obama: We got a problem: Tzipi Livni (844 hits)

Have you noticed, that in every Presidential election the Israel issue seems to raise its ugly head. Jesse is still saying things he shouldn 't. .. and "Houston ,we gotta problem."

Below is the excerpt from my own blog on Israel's Minister which I commented that something was very strange, about her comments. But now the bombing of a Gaza/Hamas compound on Christmas Day is not sitting too well with my spirit.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned Israel's offensive as excessive and demanded an immediate cease-fire. He said key international and regional players — including foreign ministers of the Arab League nations holding an emergency meeting Wednesday — must "act swiftly and decisively to bring an early end to this impasse."

The U.S. government said it was "vigorously engaged" in trying to restore a cease-fire.

"Livni said she welcomed the outcome of a meeting she attended last weekend in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, with the Quartet -- the European Union, Russia, the United Nations and the United States -- and Arab and Palestinian leaders.

Livni said she had told them: "We don't ask you to intervene. Please, this is bilateral. We don't want you to try to bridge gaps between us. Don't put new ideas on the table."

"We know what we are doing, we are responsible enough. We need your help just in supporting the process according to the parameters and the provisions we all set between us."

Dont' put new ideas on the table ..(like what Peace? now there is a new idea for Israel.)

Sounds to me,like this airstrike was planned and she knew about it then. Barack Obama will bring that transparency mindset and uncover, and I have to say the Zionist-greedy camoflouge that Israel has planned -to avenge their Holocaust.

Somewhere, we will find gun and weapons sold, on a humongous scale. Elie Wisel the Holocaust survivor that has gone all over the world hunting Nazi criminals just had the bottom fallout of his non-profit when they lost 15 million dollars in the Madoff Ponzi scheme on Wall Street where billions were lost by the rich and rich and more rich. Madoff is Jewish as well.

This is going to bust open. The think they got President Elect-Obama in check, with Rahm Emmanuel as his advisor?-- they really think that he will side with Israel, when they commit atrocities? No he won't.

Oh, he will intervene alright, when the world finds out the real truth about Israeli heads of state and their double dealing..

But I am so curious to watch how he handles this mess,with Bill Clinton in the background making deals, oh this is interesting. Stay tuned.

So I was right in my own assessment ,they don't want Peace.

ey, you got it!! In the 70's when Menachem Began was then Israel's P.M. I was in my middle twenties-had attended a Jewish public High School we were the first integrated class-after that now disastrous busing agenda, of the 60's, I attended Queens College another Jewish enclave..so surrounding me in New York was an "air" of the poor Jews and their Holocaust.

But a lot of talk also pushed back their "feel sorry for me "chatter--with talk of Zionists. One day, so young and like many folks not oriented to history-still believing the media--I always being the odd one decided to ask a Palestinian personally who owned what. He explained the history.

So I know you are on point. As for being smeared as a terrorist-sympathizer,you and I know who the terrorists are. Also anti-smite, the banner waving signal "don't analyze us" so that they can stop others from finding out the truth, is beginning to lose its impact on shutting folks down like ourselves.

It so happens that Jewish people really, like me, maybe there is an aura, maybe it's my ancestry in Sephardic Jewry, maybe it's my love of knowledge and my intelligence. Maybe.

Yes, as you so well and eloquently stated it was THEIR land first. New York City being so international, and it has always been where you can find someone from everywhere with ease. Since that day, I have reserved opinion on the conflict--from 1975.

Jewish men have been angels on my shoulder, my college teaching job which I did NOT APPLY for, as I never wanted to teach anthropology, I wanted to be free to travel the world and do my ethnographies- handed me the job on a silver platter so to speak-

I cannot deny their generosity towards me, they understand me very, very well.

So I must be pretty mad to write to MOVE.org and blast them for asking for money on the website that belongs to Obama for donations for all the non-profits that went down after their own Bernie Madoff fleeced them via the investment company.

In speaking about their greed, their overlooking their " brother's" criminal acts, and asking Main street to "help" Wall street, well that took a lot of chutzpah! I told them I wasn't buying that anti-Semite stuff..a lot of Rabbi's in Brooklyn are child molesters,and they try to keep that inside, within the community, they are very insular..the police look the other way,because complaints are not followed through, or rescinded.

You did a fine job in your analysis,can you give me permission to send it to an Obama Advisor, In D.C.? Why? because they need to know that although the Black community is silent, your analysis is based on facts, that both whites and blacks if they knew the truth would support returning the Palestine nation to the rightful owners..but through history there has been a lot of occupation and invasion--and where would the Jews go? back to the wandering Jew? as it also says in the Bible?

What about their “aaliyah” movement? All those Ethiopians who now reside in Israel? Russians, Australians, etc. and as well you are right about the” European” Jews, as one of my Israeli students shared with me, it's “them” and those Orthodox Jews that stir up trouble—other wise they get along. Just for additional information since Orthodox Jews are mandated by Jewish law to have 10 children they are now filling up the welfare rosters.

Ooo wee a brother I can talk about international politics with, it's been a long time.Thanks.

BTW where is the Book in the Bible that says, that about Armageddon?

NO there are not more Jews in NYC than wandering the earth!--They are in Europe, and Eastern Europe,South and Central America, Caribbean, obviously the Middle East, Africa especially South Africa.. whoa what happened here? and L.A.!

--we both missed it--I said wandering the earth--not in Israel--which you may be right--between L.A. and NYC! Yes, they are tired.,.my 'Russian girlfriend -just flat out told me - I hate the Jews.. and that's that!

I am so sorry that I got so lost a few nights ago when(I believe it was that the History channel) gave the history of Palestine over the past 47 years. I do remember(and am still confused) about the East and West Palinstines on both sides of India!!!! One Palestine is now named BAngladish(probably misspelled)that got military support from India. So where in this do I put the reason that I hear India and Palistine are at odds for, as another lie????

I do know that Israel was not and will not be able to come out of this WAR the same. I believe this way, because the public all over this planet is not backing Israel this time around. Now this is C-H-A-N-G-E in favor of those who are Oppressed? Or just a planet of people sick and tired of being mislead by all of our governments therefore allowing this War Business as usual leading us like pigs to the slaughter using false information about who is the OPRESSOR no longer able to work on the public at large?

Wake Up, as it seem that the label "TERRORIST" has died!!!!!Long live the truth and the will to fight for freedom by any means necessary by those who do not control the military might??Right now I am about to change my feelings about being against War in my old age.
