Is This Important? (4623 hits)

I’ve been staring at virtual blank paper for quite a while trying to figure out how to ask that simple question. Not because I don’t know the answer, but because I do. Action is crucial.

Nearly every moment of everyday, one of our children is lost to the ravages of the hate fear and violence pervading our communities. The mainstream media persistently portrays them/us as animalistic and worthy to be feared; the schools exert a concerted effort to undermine their love of learning and hope of growth. The snares and pitfalls are endless; our children, and therefore us, their parents live in a state of hyper-vigilance.

That said, can we continue to allow our children and our communities to be undermined from with-in? Can we continue to perpetuate the idea that we are limited by and to what the greater society is willing to dole out?

On the verge of a promised new day, we can’t continue to do things in the same old ways. I’ve written, what I consider to be, perhaps the most important piece I’ve done in twenty years. Yes, there is a discussion of the counterproductive parasites preying on our communities, but more crucially it presents a simple, easy to duplicate and customize plan of action. This isn’t a sales pitch; there’s nothing to buy. All there is a viable next step we can take towards manifesting the change we want to see.

My humble request is that you take time to read And the Answer Is . If you agree, pass the link on to everyone you know. Then step up and out; be the one to lead implementation in your community.

As always, I thank you all for your support and encouragement. Just Sayin
