As parents, our thoughts are preoccupied with developing approaches that have a positive impact on our children's attitudes and behaviors. At least that's what goes on in my household, in the guidance that I'm providing to my five-year-old son. We can all agree that no one has all of the right answers. There are even times when we are prone to mishaps, miscues and mistakes. But we do have a sense of what is working best for us. So, my question to you is,
"What are your best practices for equipping your children for abundant living?" And just so you know, my definition of abundant living has everything to do with relationships based on service to God and neighbor rather than the hoarding of material wealth and possessions. We receive concrete and abstract blessings so that these same blessings can be shared with others.
I look forward to reading your responses.
