Healthcare Reform needs to remain vital and strong and passable in America! President Obama is committed to CHANGING healthcare profits into quality and affordable healthcare for every man, woman, and child regardless of income (or lack thereof)
On Tuesday, March 10th, 2009, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the main health industry lobbyist group, is having a conference on "health care reform" at the Ritz in Washington, DC. AHIP strongly OPPOSES healthcare reform in America under the Obama Healthcare Reform Policy! (yawn)
This means that AHIP wants to continue to direct healthcare wealth in America! This means that poor and needy African-Americans will be squeezed out of the arena of afforadable and quality healthcare. This means that persons with a mental illness and homeless will continue to be underserved! This also means that YOU have to step out of complacency and show support for Change!
WHAT: A lunch time March on DC just to show support of President Obama's Healthcare Reform. If you live or work in the area of the RITZ-Carlton Hotel, just come on down to the Ritz Hotel Tuesday, March 10 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM...
WHERE: Outside the Ritz-Carlton (Washington, DC) at 1150 22nd St, NW, Washington, DC 20037
WHY: Showing up in masses always, ALWAYS sends a powerful message that a change is needed and anything short of such, won't be tolerated. AHIP is trying to fool the American people that they are concerned about healthcare delivery, but make no mistake about it, AHIP's goal is profit-driven!!
WHO: In addition to YOU attending this lunch time March, a broad coalition of health care reform groups, from single payer advocates to supporters of Obama's health care agenda, are rallying outside of the AHIP's conference. Can you believe that the CEO of AHIP's, Karen Ignagni, will receive an award for best protector of profits at the expense of our health? (Are they serious?)
