What is the most pressing issue facing the African American community? How are you participating in the process to address those issues?
From my perspective it is lack of control of resources. If you look at Africa, even though there have been valiant liberation movements for self determination, it appears that we are stilling lacking the necessary control of raw materials which give Africa its fame. Here in America we continue to look for solutions from without.
It is now time we take a holistic approach to solving the resource gap which is facing us. I'm still trying to get over the fact that there are only 2 Black Billionaires in the United States. Wealth Building as a social action has been something that seems has not been a concept that we have come to embrace in the back community.
