Black man running on a "white boys" slate (195 hits)

Hi George cook here. I am running for councilman in my town of Hillside NJ. Hillside is a predominantly African American town. So you can imagine some of the grief I got after choosing to run on the slate of a white candidate whom I chose because I believe he is the best for the job. Of course this didn’t go over well with some. Here more of my thoughts by using the link below:

George I am sure that you have heard these words of Malcom X, "By any means necessary", Barack Obama's in relations to what others advising him to 'wait' as this is not the time...ONe can only accomplish things like this if they are in full control of their own lives...(smile) and my best to you if you do your very best...

Mozell, we tried to tell Kevin Johnson to look at his running for mayor using the same points that you are trying to make here.Some of our people's have to learn that those who laugh in you rface and pat you on the back will not be there to watch your back or help you when you start bleeding to (Political) death when they leave you before the law trying to pull that knife(felony charges) out of your back that they put there.

Kevin Johnson has been left to fend for himself because of these White money backers who still have him still trying to explain those illegal scams that had his name on it before.This has only stopped because he is now labled mayor of a major city , Sacramento, that no White male/female wants and our president's love of basketball can only take Kevin a former Sun basket ball super star so far...

...and Earl, this is the one and the only Kevin Johnson the former basketball starof whom I speak. Someone who can and if he has any sense of survival in the sense of the color of his skin, he had better not do any thing to get not invited to the future Whitehouse basketball court.

Yes in his future he still has to prove that that charter school monies and everything else that tax monies went to in his name was not a scam...Even being a mayor of a major city may not be enough to save him when the Republicans come after him to try and bring our president down!!! Times are hard these days for the Republican party and the Obama administration is demanding 'accountability" in the past as well as the present,future on where the American citizen's money is spent.
