And start up with the cleaning. Everything you're not utlizing should go! Those old un-used rain boots, and even that piece of electronic device you've been meaning to fix. Going from top to bottom you'll need to do that spring cleaning! Unless you are like about 2% of us, most everyone does some kind of cleaning. If you've done that consider that a fortunate thing.
What I base as a cleaning rule is: If you're not using it you need to give it away, or throw it away! Those clothes that's taking up space in your closets...you never wear them! Give them away! Those framed pictures just laying on the floor of your garage! Take them to the Goodwill, The Salvation Army! Roll up your sleeves and get rid of those old papers you've been keeping in boxes for over 20years! Perhaps even ones you've kept for 5 need to go of bills you've paid from long since can probably be trashed too! Dust, scrub! and work at making some space! The kids and spouses are not exempt! They need to know how to work and learn the value lesson of a neat and presentable enviornment..., teach them about cleaning the house and giving away some of their old used stuff too. Your trash is treasure to someone else.
Clutter can develop in little or no time, so clean it up and make room for the new clutter you brought home only a few days ago! Tie that rag on your head and clean it up! When you're done, that rag can be tossed away too! You'll feel better if nothing else....
