Hi Eddie, I saw Mr. Gardner being interviewed on Cnn newsroom a few hours ago. They were talking about his wearing two watches. this interview was extra special, because it brought back my college days as a major in Black study.

At one of our finals our professor, Dr. John steward (who was also the head of the Black study department at the University of California at Davis) walked into class and said, "All of you have passed your finals"!We thought he was jocking until he said, we had disproved the myth that Black people are never on time therefore as a reward, we had all rated a passing grade.we got to tell him what grade we deserved to get and if justified, we would recieve the grade we wanted to get. Mr. Gardner brought this back to me now I will tell this to my grandchildren.I will also make sure that I get each one of them a copy of his book Start where you Stand.
