HR 600 MICHAEL JACKSON RESOLUTION MUST STAND....PAUL NEWMAN GOT ONE! (1245 hits)

I have written to State Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee in support of the Michael Jackson Resolution and ask that other members of Black in America do likewise. An excerpt from that letter and my comments on The Huffington Post is as follows:

"Nancy Pelosi is not speaking for most Americans and people around the World! Michael Jackson SHOULD have a Resolution in his name...it would promote love, charity and humanitarianism! Plus, he has given more to charitable organizations than any other entertainer! I am writing to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson to continue to present this Resolution! Paul Newman was given one...he gave millions to charities BUT MiCHAEL JACKSON HAS BEEN RECORDED TO HAVE GIVEN MORE THAN ANY OTHER ENTERTAINER! I have already written on Congress.org a letter to Pres. Obama entitled..."From Emmett Till to Michael Jackson, children who changed America! On Dream Day, August 28, wear Black and White to promote Love and Peace." We are actively pushing this in Chicago!

I definitely consider myself an AFRICAN-American...especially after the Apology for Salvery but a Disclaimer in re Reparations! The next week...abolishing Affirmative Action! Definitely SPREAD the Word about Dream Day! Let's wear the colors Black and White and STOP the racial hatred here in America. IT IS 2009! Thank you so much for your comment! I have written to President Obama on Congress.org (for view) entitled "Nancy Pelosi Decision in re HR 600 Michael Jackson Resolution Unfair...Paul Newman got one!" I also informed him that I think it is unfair that Americans outside of California and who are not her constituents cannot write letter to the Speaker of the House...her voice is suppose to represent the voices of all Americans...which we now know does not! This is undemocratic in itself! This letter can probably be viewed in about 20 minutes from now! ALSO...PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT DREAM DAY AND WEARING THE COLORS BLACK AND WHITE! Ernestine, why don't you send an official invitation to Pelosi to attend the Black neighborhood as a token of how she is so interested in this country she is leading as third in line behind Mr. Obama ,a person from Chicago?

Tell her that our two California senatores have been asked to attend...That they have been invited by the Black communitys of Yuba and Sutter county on 7-11-09. I will be sending out letters of invitations to Boxer and Feinsteine in tomorrow's mail. Unlike Pelosi, these two are my (area)direct state's Federal repesentatives.

You have asked her nicely, I will remind her of how our politicians have led our children of all colors and ages to starve in our state here in California too broke to offer them aide.This is one person, like all of them in D.C. do not want to mess with poor peoples right now,(smile)And, I am sure that California is the last place that Pelosi wants to be any time soon.LOL

I primise you Ernestime that I will send an email and the letters tomorrow.Actually this blog of yours and one of Sister Jen's have made my day.(smile)
