Hi All,
I am involved with this organization and I am sharing this information to reach as many people in the general location of our New York event.
If you can support this event or if you want to become involved in this organization for teens, please contact Brother Lee Gordon.
The NBTEE's first community teen F.A.M.E. event will be on September 19th at The National Black Theatre of Harlem. More details will be shared next week, and all of you good souls involved in fashion, art, music & education, and bettering our communities of children, need to participate or attend the first of our regularly scheduled events to be held throughout NYC over the next 10 months leading up to the expo.
But coming first, one of our partners, R.E.A.C.H. Communications, is having a book signing and networking event on Saturday, August 29, 2009, from 2 to 4:PM, at The Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), at 408 West 58th Street in NYC.
R.E.A.C.H. focuses on moving youth and adults from inspiration to action. Through comedy, storytelling, and hip-hop music, R.E.A.C.H. CEO / Founder (and now the shining author of "Look In My Mirror"), Javier Sanchez and his team are able to connect to and motivate people to "Reach Excellence in Attitude, Character and Health." Check out
www.meeproductions.com/mymirror for more info -- and let's support this good man and a company that does great work in our communities and for our children. A portion of event proceeds will also support CCCADI. I'm bringing my dynamic daughter, so we'll see you there.
Lastly, a soothing reminder to get out to another great event that's supporting a greater community a little farther south -- The Movers and Shakers Summit at The Georgia Congress Center in Downtown Atlanta. Click this for more info:

If we're not part of the progress, we're part of the problem, right ?
