Attitude and Attitudes? (1317 hits)

Take hold and evaluate you! When someone is whispering or telling you in your face you have an attitude what exactly are they seeing in you? Let's face it we all want to show for the most part a good attitude. To do that; you will have to examine yourself and then project how you want to seen. Although some attitudes are good, others may not be so receiving. Maybe you're not the charming light of a persons day, and maybe you just don't get it or even care about what others are thinking of you as far as your attitude. Attitudes can define you and cause to be liked much --or hated a lot.

If attitudes concern you somewhat and you're wanting just to sharpen your presence around others; you have to evaluate what intervals of your attitudes may need or require adjusting. Only you can do this for your own reason and for your own benefit. There'll always be others who'll have something to say about you. Don't let that stop you from being who you are inside. Changes an attitude does not mean changing who you are! It sharpens your ability to become more social and a more approachable person.

Start by taking a look at your expressions, your gestures, and how and what your conversations consist of. People tend to become tired of a persons who complains. Having negative words to say about any or everything usually turn people away. This normally requires correction and a constant watch on your own complaining. Don't take it literary that every word someone says to you has to have a reply or a rebuttal in return from you. Think of how you can say a positive response; or have more constructive way to wording your statement. You have to be willing to try, and of course the attitude you show can give you a more pleasing personality for you and for others. I'm only giving suggestions, none of these are written as instructions you can follow. If you want to change an attitude that you have-- it'll have to begin with you. I am wishing you one with a good attitudes, knowing when to react accordingly with discretion and responsible actions.

Thanks for reading.

And of course it is that much harder on boards (sorry, old term) like this, where you cannot see those gestures, eye contact, or hear the tone of words. I am impressed here to find one of the most civil forums I've been on.

And I so enjoy your posts, Miisrael.

Wise friends, I do agree, reading and writing here is a fine source of expression. It's not necessarily an attitude one may have. I in writing this am only seeking to keep a good attitude with people here as well as those I meet in the origin of my physical contact. Thus, I have given suggestions on the ways I can improve "one-self" Your advices are taken with generally the the best attitude I can display. I thank you for your responses with a good attitude! (Smiles!) If you could see my face, I am really smiling.

Clark, you mentioned having "bad days" I do know we have personal and or even business affairs that trigger attitudes. Just for discussion,...Do you think that if some is having a bad day, it should change how you view them or the attitude you might have toward them?

I've read the other's responses and I think they are right. But I will say that I stay away from people who have sour faces. (((Lol)))

I understand what you mean, but if they are not too sour, they can also be misunderstood. I'd say it's a good idea that those persons show a more pleasant view of themselves. Displaying a more positive outlook of themselves gives off a more positive awareness to others too! Are you sour Jen? (I'm just kidding!) Smiles...Thanks....Love you Jen!

I want to approach this subject by saying....some people really don't want to hear about others problems or dilemmas.........When I was in school I would get a pity party going on the inside because I had lost both my parents and emotions would get the best of me at times and I just wanted sympathy or a hug or something....because I didn't know what I needed I would just talk about the pain I was in. Well... a fellow classmate told me......we have issues of our own and don't want to hear about yours. I thought it was very insensitive and it caused me to start stuffing my feelings. I listen to any one that want to talk or a shoulder to lean on. But negativity is accompanied by agression in most people so that is where I make the choice to lend an ear or just say pray about it and move on. Some people genuinely need a good listener at times just like I did. That is when one needs a word or a nudge from God.."should I help this one Father?

I've been there too Nettie...seemed as if no one cared about me at all. Since I didn't want to be like them, I prompted to approach others needs over my own. I listen and this is true, when I want to just shut them up!..But I put myself in their faces and give encouraging words instead. I found that conversation lead where I could share my feelings with them. A word, or nudge from God! Whew! that the hammer! How many times I've depended on the Lord...Let's see I'd say it's countless, always he has the listening ear. Blessings and thanks for your comments.

We are taught in my philosophy that we can not see in others that, that we do not see in our ownselves to be able to recognize it in the first place.Change of ones self we call what you are talking about sister MIISREAL, "Our own human revolution".(smile)
