HAY! ... How you been doing?
I know you're wondering who I am? I'm Yo' Little Southern Belle, MIISRAEL. I've been busy writing other things here and there so it's been some time since you've read a new issue of "A Little Southern News" Did you miss me?.... September is a month of changes: the weather changes, the leaves changes, and other changes, I even changed my picture here but, I haven't changed any of the humor in events and Southern news I'll be bringing you this month. In fact, I've been on the hunt for more events for our reading journeys. There's more going on than I'm actually able to keep up with. Perhaps, Yo' Little Southern Belle is slowing her roll! If I am; --it's only so it'll all read a lot better. Just like butter rolls needs lots of butter. So let's get on our way to another reading adventure and fun. Where to? WELCOME ALL FRIENDS!
The kin folks is heAR already fo' our family reunion! They be show to keep on coming , so put y'alls bowls in yo bags. We'll be doing something wit them, but I bleeve it'll take a few stops firsts..."What you mean where is we gw'ain? " We's gw'ain out -ta- eat! Everybody loves food don't they? It's show do keep us from starvin too! Cassandra yeah..you can brang Cinnamin, but Jamie needs to stay behind. Jus-in case ya'll didn't here, Cassandra has another pup! It's a hound dog she calls Jamie. "Cute lil thang" , but Cassandra's doggies is filling up her house with lots of puppy love!
FOR A PUPPY WITH TWO NAMES
JASMINE- JAMIE
Here's one of Cassandra's dog storees for ya'll. It's how Jamie came into her life. She says ...She was at home when one bright August morning she was outside on the lawn that she seen whimperin puppy. She watched as a mean man had kicked the pup really hard. Hearing the yelping she ran to help the pup! Deserted and left abandon she decided to give that lil critter a home. Sometimes, Cassandra may have attitude, but her heart must be made of gold. She decided to give the pup a home and..asking her chullens for a name theY and, she came up wit two names ..One the scent of Jasmine but they also calls her Jamie! So that there "smells"....I means speaks for it self, ....I reckon. Now, she says that Jamie tries to ruff up to Cinnamin, and well we know Cinnamin's has some dog's company nigh! I just sat thar ..and listins to Cassandra's doggie stories. That's all. ...I just sats an...list'ens.....
[During the writing of this story I discovered later, with much smypathy her puppy, Jasmine-Jamie passed away today, September 01, 2009 right after I'd written this little doggie's story.]
Anyhow, we've made our first destination. I'm sure ya'll is gettin a bit hungry. "We's bound find some-teet! "

Brang all them kin folkS on down to Memphis Music and Heritage Festival. This is brought to Memphis by the Center of Southern folklore. This year as in years before they'll have music, performers, dancers, with soul and jazz singers. Serving up some food some where abouts, so brang money for food. I was told, everything else is free... Folk like Bobby Rush, Joyce Cobb and Kate Campbell will give live singing a stuff! You can dance a step or do a two-step with grand-ma Lou and gran-daddy Bob! It's fo' all families so brats and chaps can dance and shake them selfs too! Dis' is the Best free thang goin's on during a Labor Day Weekend! You and Yo' kin will like dat! I'm show mine will too! Fun awaits the family!
I speck Ole' Toot won't be dancing too murch, since he done went and broke his hip a few weeks past...[It's an ex-ray of "Ole Toot's hip]

Let's see them kin folk is a' gathering round that building talking and laughing, Don't leave out this Little Southern Belle. I should of knew it...they's talkin 'bout some cajun foods... Is they havin de'jaVu?

Ya'll... wit all them kin folks, we'll try to fit up in hear! Smail them cooking that cajun dishes. You can't beat this charming lil house of foods. If you've never experienced it you'll feel like you have cause to call it's DeJaVu!.....Hold on a minute our waiter is here.
Waiter: May I take your order please madame?
Hay!, aah..that's madamoselle..."I'm Yo's Southern Belle MIISRAEL," I'd like to order some of...Rrrr..r...."Some.. of Condo Lisa's Rice"
Family and Y'all: Laughing at me!
Okay, laugh at me folks! I don't eat cajuns foods. I'm a Southern Belle .......
My Niece Krisann: AWW...WAH!......"I'm Yo' Southern Belle Miss Mi-gi-waii!"... [Laughs]Tee! ...Hee! hee!..Hee!...
I jus' love my family.....Really I do!...mmm.
Waiter: Madame, we only serve Conglomeration foods.
No, I said.."it's madamoselle!"...Pardon me, I thought that's what I said "Condo-american lisa's rice"...Du..uh! at least that's what I meant!
Waiter: Try a taste at some of our finest New Orleans Creole Soul Food and Vegetitarian dishes, hearty and rich.
I bet you gone want this a lil' Southern tip! Mo'Sur.., (Smiling) To keep from conglomerating myself. I keeps quiet....."That's be fine.. thank you Mon'sur!"
Narrartor: Yo' folks will chomping in a quaint lil' house that decorated outside in purple and yellow. So, if you know about cajun foods...dress up in yo' doo duds and order from the menu: Great family entertainment and dining.

Ya'll these cruises are some of the bestest! What a way to end a day cruizing down the Mississppi. Tours are usally 90 minutes, and held every day. Times starts at 2:30 p.m Monday-Friday. And on weekends you can catch up with dining at 7:30 p.m. There fees are afordable for most family folk, and there might be a sightseeing cruise with a large group. What a nice view too!
Sorry Cassandra, you can't brang Cinnamin on the boat! Tie her over thar 'til we gets back. Here's our bowls.. We saved her some of that cajun foods.
