..."I am not saying this to be facetious, but I truly do not get it: how is that Glenn Beck, cocaine addict, right wing moron, who has absolutely zero credibility outside of Fox and the rightwing blogosphere and wingnutville, is able to force these people to resign, when its only coming from him? Maybe Beck had something on this guy, who knows?...
I don't know why Van Jones resigned...perhaps Jones didn't want to cause distraction from President Obama's administration and the goals that the administration has.

Sister Irma I am with you on this one. As I was leaving my birth state of South Carolina, I was amazed at home much time was given by the local radio station WLBG for the Glenn Beck radio program. On the show he was attacking Van Jones and President Obama's administration with statements that appeared to have no basis in reality. Although I changed the station a number of times, I kept going back to Beck's program to see if he was still on...the station gave about 1 hour 1/2 to Beck's rants. Imagine that!? The small town I come from still has KKK marches through the town and there's a "Red Neck Shop" on the square near the county court house in 2009. I'll be going back next year for the 20 year high school reunion, because although it (my town) has it's own issues...I still miss where I come from.
Sister Irma my mom told me that Mexicans, Whites , and Blacks are beginning to live next to each other. Now that's real change.

My brothers and sisters, never dispair. Every thing that Beck does farther causes more and more harm to his NEWS cable network. for example,Today while MSNBC was covering the press conference of the South Carolina governor, FNC ran commericals until they had to stop then showed a littl eof this press conference while they talked over it!!!Now a networkwhose mission statement is to give FAIR AND BALANCE news would not have done this as this is news that concerns all of this country. Or am I wrong?!?
Is hours and hours of negative reporting on anyone, any organization and yes even a Catholic preist who has come into contact with our president is more news of concern than the governor of a state fighting (and with his attorney present at this press conference) to not be impeached is not newson the FNC!!!!

PLEASE YOU DECIDE AND CONTACT ...fccinfo@fcc.gov...this is the Diversity department arm of the FCC who has vowed to put a $150million fine for behavior of blatant racism over our public air waves and this is all that "I" see the Fox cable news network exist to do....they are a 24/7 town hall meeting against our president.(smile)thanks brother Steve for allowing me to vent...

Sister Jen, good for us in the south as they are way ahead of us in Ca.(smile)but, I know it is hard for some to understand how in the south they always let us know the had no respect for us and the only use they have for us was to take care of their homes and children and everyone were on the same page with this. but, out here they treat us as if we are to stupid to know they have no respect for us!
This is why when someone comes to me with that old I am not a racist because I have lots of Black friends. My pat reply to this is great become some of my worst enemies aare Blacks. This is what shuts them up and give them I hope time to realize that they are actuall being racist with those comments.(smile)
