It's A Little Southern News birthday! I'm your Little Southern Belle, MIISRAEL and I'm glad to wish my little news page a Happy Birthday. This is terrific! I admit though I am about two weeks late so that's okay, I think is totally wonderful to have readers come like you to give your well-wishing in my writing a fun adventure news like this one.

It's always cool when you' is reading "A Little Southern News" Dis thime we's goin to take a few trips in Memphis, and then some other parts of Tennessee you proably neber been. Pack yo' self some sweaters and brang along a bottole of that Peptio Bisomole. You might needs them both. Look hear comes our baloon to take us on hour ride!

Fun, food and activities highlight this goregous day in Memphis. The weather is sunny bright skies and awaits this day's event. The Cooper Young Celebrates Historic District with 21 one years......"

Now this year it's 22 years and the Midtown District is at again. More of the same good food, fun, music, arts and crafts. We gits to visit the history of one the most famous neighborhoods in Memphis, all starting at the corner of Cooper and Young Streets. Brang yo'self and you chillens on down to take a look see! This is known as one of the biggest days of gobal music, dance, and ethic foods! Thar's a marketplace for ya'll to visit along with some loads of funs for all yo' chaps! It's gits even better cause we is here in reading in A Little Southern News. Can't ya'll just smell dat food and hear them countree songs and thangs! I brought some "neck bones"...I wonder if dat's considered an ethic food? I feel a little telepathic....I believe dat Scissors Man is in Nashville. He's 'round some whars cutting up stuff...."He's somethang else!"

If you's in Nashville around October 3rd, gone on down to the Centennial Park. I went thar to the Governer's Inaguraual a few years back. It's was cold then, but I'm show the weather might be better in October! Have a good time... Let's take to these baloons nigh!

Since we's hear we can gits out our racing balloons and travel wit other folk who's be racing wit us. Thar's hot air baloon racing liftoffs, fablous music festival, food and fireworks. The chillen's git to go to the musuem to see some amazing thangs! It's"Thriller" fun for ya'll.

What a way to end our ballon ride, with all the chills, thrills, stories, fun and a lot of hot air baloons and tales of humor! Sounds like the flu doesn't it? I'm hoping ya'll is all well!
The National Storytelling Festival will have a few chlling, thrilling and even humor tales for all us.
I''ll feel rite at home telling them some of my Little Southern News Stories. We done taken some really fun places everytime! I bet ya'll would enjoy dat party. Line up this event with local talents of storytellers and as you listen; you might hear a few thangs you didn't know. Southern Belles are so known for their "cultural inherantances"....Why sho we is!. Now let's gits back to Memphis. Ya'll done did enough birthday baloon floating and hollering! Hey!What's dats ya'll doing..Looks at ya'll..

After the party you might have a few left over baloons, and you want to let the air out but you don't want all that popping noise? Just take your scissors and cut the end of the balloons at the tip where they are tied...and no noise. The air floats right out quietly.
