We're glad to be here MIISRAEL! Thought we'd stop by...
Then let's read on shall we? This first story has three main characters. It starts out with a burst!

IN THE TURN CASE OF:
THE THREE ROBBERS WHO TOOK .....
THE DESIGNER PURSES OFF THE HOOK!

Three robbers decided to make a quick turn and grab on Saturday, September 19, 2009 by entering the Saddle Creek Shopping Center and robbing purse local retailer called The Coach Store. According to my sources, the two men entered the store shortly before 10:00 am turned and grabbed five purses from a display case and running out to a third man waiting in a late model Chevy Tahoe. However, they didn't get very far when the Germantown Police set them off into a high speed twist and turn chase around the nearby neighborhoods. Abandoning the vehicle the three fled on foot twisting and turning in different directions. Police caught one entering the Poplar Estates Park near the main entrance, and the other two were found several hours later hiding in a shed behind a residence on Wynterhall Drive around 2:30 p.m. The three were charged with robbery, theft of property and evading arrest. Bonds for one is set at $25,000, another one is at $7,500 and the third is set at $3,500. There were no weapons involved in the robbery and with a twist of fate no one was injured. ___________________________________

"What a tongue twister!"

The Memphis Police Organized Crime Unit arrested two men that resulted in a sieze of cash, pills and cocaine late Friday, September 18, 2009. The drug raid took place at a resident on Yale Street around 10:50 p.m. Seven people were detained, but only two were charged with possession of illegal substances. After search the scene sources stated that approximately $1,852 dollars in cash was found and apprended. Drugs on the scene included 4 Oxycodone pills, Promethazine, and a bottle of Hydrocodine pills along with a few others types of drugs. Two men were arrested and will face drug possession and evidence tampering along with firearm charges.

The Burch Library in Collierville has began charging non-residents a $25 annual fee for those who use and check out material with a library card. The the $25 fee took effect on September 01, 2009. The library directory, D. Britton is sure that the number of of users who are willing to pay will continue to climb. Right now about 30,000 card holders must have their card deactived and on about 10% has done so already. Collierville's branch is the last Shelby County suburb that has began charging non-residents the fee. However, considering other suburban libraries that charge $50 that's like paying half price. However, the Millington Public Library is still the lowest charging on $20.
Well, don't twist and turn around cause you live in another town! Just bring those designer purses and lay that money down...on the books!

After a Century of running the State Fair.. Nashville will be turning off the roller coasters. The Nashville Mayor says that the location for the fair is in the wrong place. The city he said is financially struggling with the even in 2010 outlook and does not plan to build a new facility. The city has be undergoing redevloping the fairgrounds location and that could take a twist to closing it's gates forever. According to my sources, the chairman of the fair feels that possible funding can come from other organizations or non-profit supporters. There still may be hope before taking a turn of the knob to shut to closed forever doors . The Tennessee State fair ended Sunday, September 20, 2009.

TODAY'S AFFAIRS-- OR
THE FAIRS ARE LEAVING : MANY YOUTH ARE TURNING TO OTHER TWISTS
When I was younger, I wanted to attend the visiting fair everytime it came to town! It was one of the most exciting things I could remember. Roller coasters would scare me to China! But still I wanted to ride one at least once. Here where I live in Memphis; we had one called "THE PIPPEN." When my sister and I finally got up the nerve to get on, we were finished with roller coasters! We never rode one ever it again! Those turns and twists were something else! I was glad to get back down to earth! We were shaking!
Now, many kids today seem to take a turn for new kinds of fun. The amuzement parks are suffering because, well I don't really know why? It could be that family fun has a new meaning; or the economy isn't allowing the expenditures to take vacations to theme parks or even to local and state fairs. Memphis lost it's theme park over four or five years ago with the closing of what we once called Libertyland. Now it's just a big space of liberty memories. The city was suppose to be selling it,--that was last I heard of the news, and possibly the new owners might re-open it again. I'm not sure though.
What exactly are kids doing for fun? Some have taken on new twists. They play video games, some watch too much television, and some are just hanging out with other teens which can lead to drugs, trouble and other things too; like promiscuity! Fewer of the kids hang out in malls, or at skating rings. There are plenty of them finding ways on-line wit popular web-sites for teens in chatting rooms where some become indangered to on-line predators I hear often, so many of them saying..."I'm bored"...Many things have turns and twists. Still there are plently of good, clean, and safe fun things to do. Like what? Visiting your local libraries. So many youths never go there! Maybe , if we can turn them on to some creative thoughts. If that's the case-- it might help. How about a game of Twister? Then let's turn to some Bibical Trivia! This has been MY NEWS BLOG. I welcome your comments. What do you think?
