Dear Gardeners:
It's been a short month to me in September, but now just in a few more days it'll be October. October will find you fested with beautiful leaves falling, and also for some of us the job of pruning! There are at least twice a year trees may require trimming or pruning. My neighbor just recently pruned his spruce pine and he picked a fine time to take care of a much necessary task. No, I'm no expert on pruning. In fact, I have to rely on the the expert to do it for me.
You want to be careful who you hire. Pruning trees call be hazardous to your tree's life. Check around I always say and perhaps; look to people who have good report on company or person who does their pruning. I have a summer rose, and I will be pruning it soon, but that's nothing like pruning a tree.
For small pruning jobs like bushes or blooming trees, use a good pruning cutter. You'll want to use one with an curved blade. They make a good cut and allows you to have a more precise cutting. Fruit trees will, or may require pruning if their limbs are weaving upon the ground. Pruning them can add to your fruit crops too! Take care of this soon as possible.
Soon, a frost will come, AND depending on your living location, you do not want to leave your plants out to the "bite of frost!" Ouch! Make sure you can sit them in places where that can have good lighting during the colder days ahead. I'm a little early with this letter to you because I am feeling a bit of the coolness in these last days of September. I'll be back soon nature lovers, and planters of God's green things. We have a special blessing too, that we can share information. What's going on with you. I'd love to hear about it!
Much love,
MIISRAEL
