Desoto County, MS 10.16.2009
A country road saw one teen in danger as he walked alone and was attacked by four other people who tortured and beat him repeatdly hitting him with a baseball bat. The 17 year old was walking not far from his country home when he was ambushed by 4 other young men. It's not totally clear why the teen-ager was attacked and left for dead. The teen is presently in LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis undergoing a touch and go critical condition. The baseball caused severe head trauma and the youth is almost near death. One of the family members of the youth is quoted as saying " I don't even know words to describe it. How a human being can even think of a way to torture somebody that bad? Desoto police has apprended suspects in this horrible case of assault with a deadly bat! They could face charges of possible attempted murder. Family has gathered together to pray for the boy's condition. The youngster attacked is also a baseball team player at his school.

Two toddlers were left unattended as their mother their grand auntie decided to go shopping. While they were home alone, a fire took one of the toddler's life. According to local news sources, two boys were left in their home when the house caught fire. The fire resulted in leaving one of the toddlers dead and the other with critical burns on his body. The ages of the children were 2 and 3 years old. The 3 year old died in the fire.
There was a third child a 5 year old that was at school. The 23-year old mother could face murder charges in the death of her toddler. A neighbor was quoted as saying: "They know better! Leaving a two and three year old, they can't even talk!" The District Attorney will determine in a follow-up action of their mother, but presently has not presented her with offical charges. Memphians are still talking about this story today! It's... echos on tv and radios!
Update: It was later discovered that the aunt suffers from mental illness.

I agree with that neighbor! They know better! So many times this happens with young mothers! The mother's auntie who is no "spring chicken" should know better too! Is she is from "Old School?"

Three suspects of University of Memphis Kappa Alpha pledges took on an adventure of just having fun, but were surprised by a homeower who pulled a gun of the three. The homeower said that the threesome were heard taking his horse stature from his porch. He then took his gun thinking they were burglers or thieves and held all three of them a gunpoint until police arrived. One of the students ran way, but he held captive the other three. Conflicting stories say the horse stature never actually left the property, but was still in the yard. There was not charges presented against the teens, only a warning that they know better! The police on the seen stated: "The sign on the homeower's fence should read, "Never mind the dog, beware of owner" "I think it's a normal teenage high school even college thing to do sometimes, but it just tells people you need to respect other people property."

DOING STUPID THINGS!
We can't all escape it. We're all guilty of doing some kinds of stupid things. It's part of life I guess. When we're young we just don't really think. Although having fun can lead us into traps of danger and lure us into situations we later regret. We still wind up doing some stupid things.
I can sit and think of a few stupid things I've done. Not when I was young either! I've done stupid things in my adult life. I knew better! Still I did them only to result in facing the consequences of them later or even immediately after I'd done them.
People will tell you the older you are wiser you are, but [not calling any aged person stupid,] there's a closet full of stupid "Old people" They say and do stupid things and they too know better. I take a long look at myself, and examine how I have grown up to not be so bad! I still sometimes I'll make a goofy choice, but I learn from it most rewardingly. This kind of experiences turns stupid into knowledge. Afterall, one shouldn't always be stupid! Goodness! I feel for that person who never learns any of life's lessons. Don't be stupid all your life! You can make good choices, and listen, learn and attribute to do what is right. These are the best choices to make above all!
I constantly ask help from God for his guidance, and correction. This so I can say, do, and act better. I'm not so stupid I can't recognize I need him to add correction in my life. Now, that's wisdom.
