Stop passing down ignorance about Reparations! (483 hits)

Slaves have no rights. Slavery is over. The only true legal case for African Americans is to prove the government had a hand in our oppressed condition as free people. Free people have rights. That's why the Native Americans, Jews and Japanese received reparations idiots. Mozell and some of Baby Boomers constantly ramp on education but you need it yourselves. Learn the law. Slavery was legal. I repeat Slavery was legal and therefore Whites aren't entitled to pay back any of that that happened to slaves. Only free people are entitled to rights and therefore can bring a legal suit as victims. That's why the Armistad prisoners where freed because they proved they were free people and thus entitled to the right to defend themselves and regain their freedom. Only free people have rights and that's recognized worldwide as international law.

The only true case we actually have is to prove our reparation's case is to prove the government during post slavery conspired to either collaborate with the KKK or racist Whites to take away our independence, freedoms and liberties. And that such persons involved in hostilities towards us as a specific group were elected, official or appointed representatives of Federal, State and Local governments. And that they showed through negligence or insensitivity or failure to fulfill their duty obligations of office to protect our rights as freed people. All the burnt down Black towns, homes, businesses, farm lands stolen, Mothers and daughters raped, fathers and sons murdered and our people scattered from settled areas into homelessness is our tangible legal proof.

Whites including alot of you ignorant Blacks still refer to slavery as if Blacks are still angry over slavery. Slavery was legal and there is no case for reparations when making it that grounds of any suit. When you make Slavery your argument then the counter becomes Whites bought slaves from Africans whom actually killed more of their own just to capture slaves and sell to not only Whites but Arabs and Asians. Your argument makes it to easy for them to counter, too easy!

Besides Slavery was not that difficult to overcome as history shows Black Americans were making great progress at the turn of the 20th century with Black Universities, Black Towns and Black Enterprise. It was the anti-international laws of Jim Crow, the KKK and the U.S government's compliance from all branches of government with the racism that destroyed our recovery. And that effect is still lingering today as Black Americans are afraid of banding together for fear of reprisal or angering Whites whom fear our collective progress and government collaboration with them. That is the case we have and can prove through thousands of records. Stop talking this non-legal argument about Slavery. For some of you to be on here stressing education you would do yourselves a big favor to learn the law. Read a little. Lol.

As far as immigrants and others footing the bill. Who cares! They knowingly bought into a country with such a tainted history that was well known and still unresolved when they bought into it. It's like buying a house with a lien on it you still must pay those taxes in order for the house to be totally yours! No case. Move on. Posted By: John Washington
