What we should be asking about the high Black Unemployment rate? (478 hits)

I hear and see how high the Black Unemployment rate has sky rocketed. But you don't have to read the statistics to see the many of African Americans whom are out of work today. Just go and see the huge amounts of homeless in your city and see how many of them are Blacks. Most of you fill your time with why it's so but nobody asks what are we going to do about? What is Black Leadership doing about it? What are the wealthy of the Black doing about it? The answer may shock you but most of you know nothing is being done. Sure the CBC cried to Obama he's neglecting them but soon as they did many Blacks jumped to defend him and shield him. Obama's not at fault but he is the president the highest authority in the land. Nobody can help us but us in the end is what I find to be the most truth. So what are we doing to help us?

During the Great Depression when White unemployment rate was 25% all the stops were pulled out. Every church, school, store, warehouse, post office and every facet of society including the wealthy and the celebrities were pulling up the poor White and giving them assistance. Do you see such passion in the Black Community? Let's be honest tonight because we can't keep going on pretending that a serious problem that's much deeper than sky high unemployment exists in the Black Community.

And that issue I like to bring up is self love. Even dogs feel something like pain when they see another dog get beaten in front of them. Yet we are the only people whom will blame our people in some kind of way for being the victims of racism. Every group in America practices some form of racism against Black Americans for self gain. Blacks out of work in every region of this country from hiring discrimination practiced by Asians, Hispanics and Whites. And when they identify you as one whom excels they loathe you and work hard to get you fired from that job ofttimes your own will join them in this attack. Because every group is in a race thus racism to get the most resources to get on top or stay on top. So their objective is limit Black numbers and to stop the Best of them from being recognized because our best people are group motivators. And the last thing racist want is the group they're trying to oppress to be motivated to fight their oppression.

But what do we do as a people we hate upon every better person that tries to excel which is why the word, "Hater" which came from "Playahater" is so commonly used amongst us. This is the same as being in the hot sun and chopping down the only shade tree you have. I could go on and on about jealousy and envy but this is just the tip of the iceberg in our lack of self love.

I wished we could go back to pre-intergration days when there were plenty of Black Businesses in the our community. But I believe now the only reason why this is so is because we couldn't go anywhere else so we had to support our own businesses. But as soon as the gates were open the flood of self hate poured out. We ran to get away from each other and therefore drove down our success. We were too happy to commit suicide and now we are tasting the bitter pill as not only Black unemployment is sky high but so is disease in our community, fatherless homes, high incarceration and violence. It's a shame as a Blackman that I have way more chance of being shot by a brother or beat down by a group of them than shot by a racist cop.

In conclusion, we are a permanent underclass and when America falls into deeper depression we are going to be the victims of starvation. But not me I would like to go to another Black ran country where there's farming way up in the hills and just get back to simple living. I thought about family I would be leaving behind but then I thought we never acted like family anyway.

People are attracted to Modernization. Dr. Blair once asked a question about why there's so much empty land around the Earth yet human beings seem to gravitate to one area? They gravitate to one area then suck up all the resources then fight over the remains.

The answer to your question is nobody wants to live in a small village and farm that's why? They all want the things that modernization can bring which is social status, over rated luxury items and power. Living in a small village where no of that matters doesn't interest people. Yet the most important thing in life still can be obtained...which is duty to God.

There are 21 distinct civilizations on this planet and never has a time any one conqueror ruled them all. Usually when conquers conquer they force the people to assimilate which is take upon their mode of living. If you refuse and go live in the woods or hills whom can stop you? You won't obtain great wealth or power but you will be free at least. Isn't freedom what the U.S promises yet it's one of the most oppressive countries on Earth or this website called, "BlackinAmerica" wouldn't exist! Lol.

Lol.

You must be a fool on the drug called hope mistranslated as dope which you can find on any corner in a black neighborhood supposively. Lol.

Do see Blacks creating that? Do you see Black Leaders mobolizing Blacks to do that? No.

You won't see this and that's my whole point. Black Americans are a people never meant to be as one. The fear of White reprisal for trying to stop the aim of the current racism which is to eliminate the threat of Blacks in America by reducing our numbers and making us completely powerless.

Many say other minority groups get support from the government which is why they are head of us. This is true. But what is more true is that these other minorities also get help from back home. Mexicans sell cheaper goods because they import these from back home. So do Asians they import goods and services from back home.

When the last time you saw a bag of rice from Africa in this country? Or from Jaimaica or some Black country? Or any kind of food or product grown, manufactored or produced in a Black country here in the U.S? That it got the support of Blacks here and large numbers and a trade situation was generated? There is none and the fact of the matter is there is quota of how many Blacks can come in here that is much lower than all the other minorities.

We can change the situation and make it possible for Black Business to grow but it will require the all out effort of the entire Black America and can you honestly say that is going to happen?

Hello to all,

Of all the comments made, which one of you made a comment that has a permanent solution? All that I see is whining and complaining am I right. Not one of you has presented an upward permanent solution and that is because you all are not programmed from slavery days to think positively of yourselves.

Consequentially, this same ****y whining and complaining waters that you all are presently swimming in the previous generation has swam in it as well and no doubt our future generation will swim in just to same if there is no one among us with enough brains to encourage a change in directions, am I right.

My question to all of you, why would so that we whine and complain generation after generation? I believe that our brains need to be oiled by a genuine God prophetic leader, as was the case with Moses and the Children of Israel. Does that make some sense to you all?

Now, I differ from the thinking of all of you. I have said to all of you that our only permanent solution is to desire sovereignty or complete independence on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Do you all not want to have your hands on the helm of the own destiny? Desiring at the least would ease the burden of your constantly whining and complaining, am I right.

Tell me what you think.

[Don't let up but don't belittle the fortitude of those who still strive to overcome the INSTITUTION.]

Well said Brother Mozell and you're right on point in what you have stated. I'd like to add to it a bit though...

Old pirates, yes, they rob I;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the 'and of the Almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.
Won't you help to sing
This songs of freedom
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fullfil the book.

Won't you help to sing
This songs of freedom-
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our mind.
Wo! Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them-a can-a stop-a the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look?
Yes, some say it's just a part of it:

Hello Mr. Clark,

While creating jobs is, a short-term good thing that could only benefit those immediately around you is not the end goal. The end goal is to desire to become a sovereign people or have complete independence on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders despite how impossible it may seem to you now.

My intentions is to reach and affect all Black Americans scattered throughout White America as Moses reached and affected all Hebrews localized or scattered throughout Egypt.

The only way to reach and affect all Black Americans is to inherit a portion of this continent that naturally what ever we do from building our own economy to blasting off an exploratory spaceship to Saturn it would affect all Black Americans at one time with joy of out accomplishment, am I right.

At the same time as our spaceship, takes off White America would observe via cable or satellite TV. We also need to take pride to have something of a top secreted nature on our drawing that could raise the eyebrow of Whites that they would come to admire and respect us who was once their slaves. Imagine others as well coming to admire us for out brilliance.

Please tell me what is wrong that we should not entertain the concept of sovereignty or complete independence on the portion of this continent?

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Solomon,

Let me tell you what is wrong with you.

Mr. Elijah Muhammad could only see out of one eye and blind in the other eye. Therefore, he had no depth perception.

Let me share this with you, God is frugal and not wasteful. When God anointed me, as was the same with Moses I had only one of two permanent solutions to pick. Either I pick our sovereignty or I pick grudge, enmity and vengeance on White America, which seems to have been what Mr. Elijah Muhammad favored as your sentiments strongly reflects as well.

Well, Mr. Solomon I chose that God be favorable unto Black Americans. So, if you notice I have very little or nothing to say about White America.

However, my own personal feelings is that I want that one day Black Americans would have an opportunity to help White America should a terrible disaster befalls them that White Americans would express the deepest praise and gratitude for our help to our president and country.

However, do not forget my point. With God, all prophets are giving two choices. Of course, we all know the one to pick since God do not anoint idiots as prophets I chose sovereignty for Black Americans on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. I chose that God help us to get our hands on the helm of our own destiny. Moses chose the Exodus. Prophet Mohammed chose Islam over paganism. Are you getting the picture? You cannot have both. Elijah Muhammad did not understand this principle since it was a man that raised Elijah and not God.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Weston,

You asked, “Harry, would you be kind enough to give a brief history of who you are?”

Well Mr. Weston, I am Black America’s first genuine Prophet. We are going to inherit a portion of this continent as was left to us by our ancestors. The time came just a couple of years ago that God intervened in our affairs. The same as when the time had come God intervened in the affairs of the Hebrew people and anointed Moses as the Hebrew people’s Prophet. My task is similar to that of Moses.

It is sort of a triangle deal. You have God, the Prophet and his people. The skin that the Prophet has in the deal is to convince and simultaneously prepare mentally his people to handle the resolution of the problem as things evolved. But first, the encounter and actions for many years is between the Prophet and his people before God kicks in, which will eventually happen anyway.

Moses had put in 20 years of skin in Egypt and 40 years of skin in the desert. However, the hardest part was convincing the Hebrew people they could just walk out of Egypt. Likewise, the hardest part of my task is to convince Black Americans that they could become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent if only they would desire to be sovereign, from my perspective it is just that easy since I am God’s genuine Prophet. But, how much skin is going to be required of me will depend on how fast Black Americans comes around to what I say. Nevertheless, everything I say is going to happen.

Well anyway, I am Black America’s first genuine Prophet who will lead us into sovereignty or complete independence on the portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

God constantly inspires me. I am beholding to nobody just as Moses was beholden to nobody. I use the story of Moses that would help you to understand the essence of things in me as well.

Anything I say no one is going to be able to say better and that you all should have confidence that Black Americans are the apple of God’s eyes today.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Ms. Jen,

Why should not Mr. Weston be serious when he asked me who am I? Could you have given him a better answer than I could?

Am I wrong that Black Americans are not going to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent? Is it wrong that Black Americans should become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent?

The question should be why you are not serious.

What say you?

Ms. Irma, I have never said sea. I said the Atlantic Ocean. Why do you misquote me? The people’s prophet has always told lies on the prophet that he would be discredited, am I right. You are no different.

However, this sort of action really harms the public more so than me because the people are deceived.

Okay.

[Immigrants come here and they still organize around the mutual aid societies that expect its members to come up with viable businesses and other ways to use that money positively when it is their turn comes around. And what they lack in that regard they make up for in just plain old hard work and savings,]

Brother Clark you have made a very interesting point regarding something that I have admired about immigrants in this country that being they don't mind pulling themselves up by their boot straps to make the American dream a reality by pooling their resources something we as a people aren’t willing to do because we have MAJOR ISSUES.

I also want to note that while it is true that African Americans are doing awesome things to keep our families thriving, I want to point out that there is a disparity and to deny this fact would not be useful for meaningful dialogue to build us all up. We as a people have some major issues as seen by our inability to agree on one thing. Although we have different minds, religious beliefs, and socioeconomic statuses we should be able to agree on at least one thing and that being... We haven't done enough to help ourselves which seems to be what Mr. Solomon alludes to (when he isn't attacking Christian theology).

I have to agree with him that we need to establish our own businesses and without necessarily depending on the financial capital many other ethnic groups have access to that African Americans (citizens of this land) are denied on a regular basis. We can learn a thing or two from the hard working immigrants who come here with not much except their hopes and dreams which they are willing to cause to come to fruition through the sweat and tears of their own hard work. Most importantly when immigrants have success, they don’t forget about the others of their group who need help unlike many African Americans.

Brother John although I get your point about preintergration, I think we can still support one another simply by choosing to do so. It's that simple in my mind and I do support minority businesses all the time, but not just African American minority businesses. I am a regular at the African -Carribean- Asian Stores. I buy food, hair, hygiene products from these businesses.

Hello Jen,

I could see that you all are bent on skipping around the things that I say. I said to you all that our only permanent solution is that we embrace the desire to become a sovereign people or have complete independence on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Nothing else is workable for us than the things that I say. I am too Black Americans as Moses was to the Hebrew people.

You said this Ms. Jen, “We haven't done enough to help ourselves which seems to be what Mr. Solomon alludes to…”

Jen the strongest and most aggressive organization to have gone down the road chanting the slogan, “we must do for ourselves” is the Nation of Islam established by the late Mr. Elijah Muhammad. What Mr. Elijah Muhammad did in his best years was establishing a huge business operation, which was far from his vision and goals. Mr. Elijah Muhammad envisioned as a bona fide Black American nation on a portion of this earth, preferably the real estate of White America or elsewhere. He felt that to achieve this dream Black Americans would have to do for themselves. He jumpstarted his vision by first purchasing huge tracks of farmland from White people in the southern states. Today having hindsight, we could see that all Mr. Elijah Muhammad’s efforts Black Americans would still be under White America’s control, but we thank him anyway. Mr. Solomon being a follower of Mr. Elijah Muhammad is trying to keep Mr. Muhammad failed dream alive and all of you are agreeing with Mr. Solomon. Again, Mr. Muhammad’s dream is not workable. Mr. Elijah Muhammad was not God’s Chosen One, but I am.

You cannot buy sovereignty. Either you take it or it is given to you. We do not have the wherewithal to take our sovereignty. Therefore, it must be given to us. What you all need to do is to believe what I say. The highest entity to provide us with our sovereignty is God, as it was with Moses.

Again, our only permanent solution is to embrace the desire to be a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. You all know that I am right.

Black Americans should not want chains of businesses that provide jobs while at the same time we are controlled, regulations and pay taxes to White America. We should want our own economy and country to pay taxes to our own government. To have your own economy we must be a sovereign people. There are tremendous differences between Black Americans having chains of businesses that provide jobs mostly for Black Americans scattered throughout White America as opposed to having an economy in our own country.

You Ms. Jen, Mr. Solomon and Mr. Clark is not rationalizing properly, am I right.

Tell me what you think.

Hello John,

To have the opinion of wanting to ride the bicycle backwards to pre-integration days to capture what you believe to be our permanent solution of our present day problems is just not rational thinking at all. We must move forward, John.

Our permanent solution is to embrace the desire to be a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Sovereignty is what I have always been saying and it is going to happen.

Anyway, the pre-integration era is gone and the reason that you see it as our moment in glory is because you are a reactionary thinkers, John. We have no credible mind to resolve present day problems and at the same time be visionary and proactive.

For the most part the way you all think is the residue and side affects of slavery passed down from our ancestors to us. You all are no different, mentally speaking, than what the Hebrew people were when Moses was anointed to lead them out a bondage as I am presently anointed to lead us into sovereignty on the portion of this continent, am I right.

Tell me what you think.

Anyway, my vision for us, Black Americans is beyond just jobs, if you will. You know that sovereignty on the portion of this continent would resolve all of our problems that we have been having in White America for the past 500, am I right.

We must keep our eyes on the prize (Sovereignty).

Greetings Mr. Solomon,

You said this, “My "solution is simple___ I think Blcks MUST do for ourselves.”

Your solution is not workable in White America and if you had any sense you would learn that it did not work for Mr. Elijah Muhammad.

Black Americans could only do for themselves if we were on our own real estate, country that is. Therefore, we are going to inherit a portion of this continent and then we could do for ourselves, am I right.

So, anything we do today is all trivial since we would be doing it in the jurisdiction and sovereignty of White America.

You are not a rational thinker and that is not good for you.

Everything that I say is going to happen. There are profound differences between all Black leaders before and present in comparison to me.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Dorothy,

You said this, “Mr. Watley please tell me how this sovereignty is going to be financed?”

Dorothy forget about financing. Support Black businesses if you like. But, somewhere down the road, things are going to become very difficult for Black Americans that if you thought slavery was difficult you have not seen anything yet. Yet, as I have often times heard that we made it through slavery we could make it through anything, am I right.

The crux of our difficulties is divinely orchestrated to bring us together while simultaneously preparing us to be a civilized people that our sovereignty will be a success and of course pay attention to the things I say. Everything I say is going to happen.

Were not the difficulties in Egypt divinely orchestrated to bring the Hebrew people together at the least to desire the Exodus? Even though things were bad for them if they did not get worse, they would not have wanted to leave a worse situation to do better. They cried out to God for help and when the help came, they began to whine and complain about the help because they did not understand. However, it was too late since God had intervened in their affairs. They could not simply say God we changed our minds, so please go our way.

In addition, while they were having trouble it brought them to pay attention to Moses. All this spanned for a period of approximately 20 years and it was not over for them even when they left Egypt, they still had the desert experience to handle.

Do you not think it is about time Dorothy that we face the music and difficulties to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders? If not now, then when?

I said all that to say this, keep God in your mind and sovereignty in your heart. Do not waver no matter what the storm may bring. We are the apple of God’s eyes. I am Black America’s first genuine prophet. What I say is going to happen.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Amos,

You said this, “Let's not just talk about it, let's be about it.”

I do not know if you were specifically addressing me. But, if you were, I am about it. What else am I to do but communicate to you our direction must and will change.

Our old ways must be abandoned to take room of our new way, our sovereignty. Our thinking must change. Accepting our new religion. Our personality must change. Our civility must change etc.

We have never been sovereignty before. Consequentially, this is uncharted territory that no entity could guide us except God through God’s prophet to us, yours truly.

For instance, the Exodus for the Hebrew people was uncharted territory. Even though they were free people in the days of Joseph they lost all their civility, religion and any sense of reasoning after being in bondage and slavery over 400 years that by the time Moses came to get them they were so stupid as we are today. So, for them the Exodus was uncharted waters that only God could guide them as its being done for us presently.

I am the way, and besides me, there is no other way that Black Americans could ever become real people in this world.

Therefore, what else am I to do except talk about it to Black Americans? The time will come that you all will listen and obey.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Solomon,

You said this, “The idea of Blacks governing ourselves is "UNWORKABLE"?”

Why would you believe that the idea of us governing ourselves is unworkable? Is this not what Elijah wanted but was not anointed of God to do it as I am? Anyway, it seems very odd to me coming from you that you would feel it is unworkable that Black Americans cannot govern themselves. I am bewildered.

Next, you said this, “Mr. Watley all I ask, is that you don't attempt to "get in th way".”

You have no way, Mr. Solomon. You are following in the same footsteps as Elijah Muhammad and that is your way, which has already failed.

Now, before Elijah passed we were no better off 35 years ago than we are today. Today you still want to follow his direction. That is absolutely insane, to repeat the same actions while expecting a different result is absolutely crazy.

Mr. Solomon, I am not in your way. What is in your way is your own ignorance.

I am the way, and besides me, there is no other way that Black Americans could ever become a real people in this world.

What say you?

Sunday, January 3rd 2010 at 8:37PM
Harry Watley
Hello Mr. Solomon,

You asked, “You claimto be a "prophet". Please, inform, WHAT MANNER did God communicate with YOU?”

It is a personal thing for each Prophet. Moses described his experience as a burning bush. Prophet Mohammed described his experience as revelations through Gabriel. My anointing is in my head as God inspires me or communicates with me whichever version fits you. God constantly inspires me or comes to me whichever version fits you. There are never any witnesses and that is why it is a personal experience between God and the Chosen One.

The obligation of the prophet’s people is to determine not how God anointed the Prophet, but whether from the things the Prophet says make sense that would legitimize him.

In other words, were the things that Moses said relevant to the Exodus of his people or was Moses spewing a bunch of crazy thoughts? The things Prophet Mohammed said were they relevant to stop pagan worship and submit to the will of Allah or was Prophet Mohammed spewing a bunch of stupid stuff. Likewise, are the things that I am saying about our plight that our only permanent solution is to desire to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders as God has given to me crazy or relevant?

For instance, you could not be our prophet since you are following in the footsteps of Elijah Muhammad who was not a prophet either. Mr. Muhammad’s direction was not workable and did not work. To begin with, we are not Muslims. Only a ray being people could be Muslims since Allah raised us up prophets only from among their own kinds. Elijah did not have sense enough to figure that out. We are a new breed or race of people that has emerged out of the ashes of slavery. Everything that comes to us will be from God and therefore it will be new and not belonging to any people as Islam belongs to the Arabian people.

The bottom line is that only the Prophet is God backing, and no one else. Does that make any sense to you Mr. Solomon?

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Solomon,

Since you are having a problem with my response, it is because I do not understand the style of your writing. I do not know if you asking me a question or if you are making a statement.

What it is that you want to know?

I believe I have already answered your question about what manner did God communicate with me. I said that it was not important how God anointed and communicates with me as it is more important about the things I say whether they are sensible and relevant. Did you have any problems understanding that?

Tell me what you think.

Hello Mr. Solomon,

You said this, “Mr. Watley, did NOT ask if, it was "important how God communicates with "you. Instead, I askd HOW did He communicate with you. Do you understand the difference?

I believe that I do understand that there are not any differences. Your argument is moot or a matter of semantics.

Common sense should tell you, Mr. Solomon that when I said it is not important how God communicates with me, obviously God is communicating or inspiring me. I went further to say your obligation in determining if God is truly communicating with me would be to examine the things that I say. Are they relevant and has anyone trumped me? Does that make any sense to you?

Tell me what you think.

Hello Ms. Jen,

You know deep within you Ms. Jen that nothing is workable for us if what we struggle putting together is not in our own territorial real estate, which is a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country.

Mr. Clark knows that we could have a chain of businesses stringed from California to New York, but if it is not in our own country then we have nothing.

You all know that we did not come to this continent to make a better life for ourselves as other immigrants have. You all know our circumstances being here is different from other immigrants. We were made here on this continent. Therefore, a portion of this continent we will inherit. All that we need to do is to desire our sovereignty and portion. Likewise, all that the Hebrew people needed to do was to desire to leave Egypt. When they realize from Moses that is all they needed to do, when they mustered up the desire to leave Egypt the Exodus happened, am I right.

So, why is it so complicated that you all do not understand what I am saying that our only permanent solution is to desire to become a sovereign people?

Do you all not think that all great things start with just a few? We could light the fire of sovereignty as the Hebrew people lit the fire of their Exodus that the flames of our sovereignty would grow to reach heaven. So, why it is we cannot do this.

What say you?

At the end of the day and all this back and forth arguing and small accusations about others not doing anything and whining there still needs to be an all out effort by African Americans from every corner. And there isn't and that is really my point that there should be a state of emergency but the problem is there is not even a State or State of Black American Unity. Lol.

Unemployment is up everywhere in America...everywhere.

Pray, keep looking for a job if you happen to be a person adversely affected by this dying economy, and leave the rest to God.

Blessings...

Hello John and Dee,

Jobs are not the solution. I have the solution. We must desire to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

It is a strong possibility that we may meet this some to discuss our sovereignty, Mr. John. E-mail Mr. Clark about it.

Tell me what you think.

Harry do you remember describing your God as having no mouth...The truth needs no defense and a lie having its being unable to even remember them especially when one vintures off course of just answering by insults, and actually giving answers fromtime to time...I believe your best bet is to return to just giving out insults or at least try to remember this site can go back into the past.(smile)

do you now want the names and dates of these blogs by you from now on before I comment like this...it is all up to you or do you just see the future and not the past???LOOOOL

"I" believe that somethings like:

1. "Have "I" now run out of excuses for not having /even seeking a job?!?

2. aSKING AM "i" FULLY QUALIFIED for the job, I lost/ spplied for.

3. would it be better for me if I seek a grant and become my own boss?

"I" have put these few as what may be the causes of these kinds of statistic-reports, rational, reality ect. "I" do not believe in one size fits all in my race in this matter.(smile)
