Awarded Over a Million Dollars in Scholarships
We all have adversities. This young man succeeded IN SPITE OF. You can too!!! Derrius won over $1 million in scholarships! Class of 2009 member Derrius Quarles was offered $755,000 in scholarships from nearly a dozen colleges, which he turned down. He accepted $355,000 additional offers and will attend Morehouse College this Fall. Morehouse College, Class of 2013
God Bless the individuals who watched over him, who counseled him, who encouraged him, who opened doors for him. He should thank God first, and the angels in his path second. He is a handsome young man and on his way to possibly being a second truly Black American President. 4.2 GPA?..as you know, 4.00 is the highest- but you can go over this grade point average , which means he consistently averaged an A+.
