Learn from history my brothers. Here in America, us Black Americans have challenges of our own, but take it from a people that have battling the worst of the Europeans, accept what the whites descending from planes and helicopters, almost as white angels from heaven. Accept their blankets, food and what medical care they administer. They will want to subdue you as a people, though, in a very subliminal way. After all of the giving, they will want you to accept their religion..and that is when they got you. For once you start thinking that God is white...or in the image of white...or in the likeness of white, it will take you away from truly loving your black brother...and from there, he will get Haitians killing Haitians and ask forgiveness of Jesus who died for your sins. So accept what he gives you....in the state of destruction from the earthquake...but under no circumstances, accept his religion. Take it from an engineering scientist.

I have a disdain for religion. Religion is on par with Politics and has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. Religion is typically pure scattological dogma.
I am a God-fearing Christian woman who definitely sees no connection between airplanes/helicopters and angels. :D
For some reason I refuse to believe that their is a conspiracy to provide humanitarian aid on one hand and to convert the people of Haiti to some Religion which you are referring to with the end goal of submitting/subduing the Haitian people subconsciously somehow.
I'm new in this community and some of the writings I set my eyes upon have me flabbergasted in some cases and in other cases, I am rolling on the floor laughing out loud ... yes very loud.
I am not trying to insult you but I simply don't get it.
When you put emphasis on someone you tout as attempting to subdue you, in my eyes, that equates to saying that they do indeed have some sort of super human power to take over one's mind while admitting that you are powerless.
'White' people did not make us hate one another. We did that. And for the sake of argument let us say that they did and it is allll their fault. So where is our power? Where is our ownership of our destiny?
I don't know about you but shucks! my friend, Jamal, I can't buy into anything which purports to insinuate that someone has their neck on my throat and I just lie there powerless to push that boot off.

Sister Faith there is no need to be sorry for there is nothing wrong with giving to people in need. We have yet to hear of any Muslim countries who have sent any aide to Haiti. Opps I'm not sorry for my comment Brother Jamal.

Sister Faith....there is particular emphasis to the brothers in Haiti..but the blog is for ALL HAITIANS. I do appreciate what you say, your being an intelligent woman an all. But, white Americans agenda many times is not obvious. Why did they give ICE T a part in Hollywood....to shut his mouth about police brutality.....not so obvious.....But, think about it...If you were in an earthquake and lost all your possessions....and hungry....and out of doors....and needing medical care....then mechanical airplanes built by the white man descended down to your country...and gave you food and supplies...then gave you pamphlets of their religion.....Please...are you going to ignore it......Don't think so....Believe me...White Americans want those pitiful brothers and sisters of ours in Haiti to worship them and kiss their white hand. But, this is an easy one....if you think about it too much....thats too long.

Jen, you point out a fact about few to none Muslim countries have given Aid to Haiti...In the United States, a collection has been taken up by the Nation of Islam for donations to Haiti. .Can't really speak about the other Muslim countries and why they have not provided Haiti relief aid....I'd be only guessing as to why...so rather to leave it along at that.

It probably is good for you that they don't have any access right now --- so that they can't make any little Jamal Voodoo dolls. By the way Voodoo is a recognized religion like Islam... Just my unitelligent two cents worth...

As a scientist...really don't have fears....therefore those voodoo dolls would not work (smile)...but lets try to stick to the blog. If in Haiti and a victim of the very terrible Earthquake....one should be as clever as the white Americans who hide their hidden agenda. So Haitians should take all that the lilly white give them with their smile. But, when it comes to their religion...take their pamphlets, till they turn their back...then throw them in the trash.

So, Jamal, are you insinuating somehow that 'white Americans' are more intelligent or more clever that we are?
Sometimes we need to analyze and pay attention to our own 'speak'.
First you talked about how powerless we are and how powerful this all encompassing group of White people are. Then you talk about how clever they are and how we need to be '...as clever'
hmmm...
I simply refuse to believe that there is a White conspiracy.
I love that song ... let me see ... how does it go ...
"You're so vaiiiiiiiinnnnn, you probably think this song is about you..."
If you channel all of that powerful, beautiful, energy and emotion you have, Jamal, and put it into positive action, you will be a force to contend with, my friend.
Actually, I would want to partner with you on some business interests as I sense unbridled tenancity.
On the other hand, it probably would not work since my personal and entrepreneurial dealings encompasses all races, male, female, short people, tall people, university students, C-Level executives, middle-managers, etc.
I would have to wonder whether that would be much too much for you to bear and minimize your effectiveness, your profitability index, and would probably ruin our relationship before we even develop one.
Harness it, babe... Harness it ... but continue being YOU.

A point of being mature is the realization that you don't have to love someone to work them. Unemployment among black Americans is over 25% in the nation...but, I'm not one of them .... for one reason...I have a science degree, have over 25 years in my skill,can pass a drug test and GETS ALONG WITH ALL RACES. What I speak on is that the truth that does not necessarily stare at a person in the face. My realization is that we have more than one(1) sense of seeing....there also is the sense of sound, taste, touch and smell. In other words, we see the whites giving food and services to the pitiful Haitians but what about the other senses. All I'm saying as one of YOUR science black brothers, is that it smells fishy.

I have a B.S. in Quantitative Methods from UIC and an M.S. in Information Management Systems with 25 yrs in the technology arena. So it appears we can lock arms. We're probably around the same age too.
Scarey. LOL!
But sometimes science over rules emotion. Not everything is black and white. Why heck you should know that 1+1 can be 1.999998, right? (wink)
I love everyone but it doesn't mean I trust everyone.

oh one other thing there are many many people of all races with a scientific background, can pass a drug test, can get along with people and yet are unemployed.
and on the left hand, many many blacks are unemployed AND can pass a drug test and have varied backgrounds including a scientific one.
So you lost me on the cause effect statement. I know you know that correlation does not automatically assumes causation.
Gotta go talk to some of those darn black unemployed, uneducated drug addicts.

Yes, White Americans have demonstrated more ability to be more clever and witty than black Americans in the areas of political science. America uses her money to buy friendship, this is not new...but the point of me bringing up my background is that so you understand that when you deal with me you deal with a thinking individual...that's all. What is so refreshing is to be conversing with an obviously sharp sister like you. Quick with the tongue and brain in gear with the speech plus education....I like that. Naive in American Indians and black Americans have proved to be deadly and costly. That is why scientist are a mercy to a people. But Black Americans discount the views of her scientist....And that is why Black Americans take it on the jaw. In other words, let me say it two ways; one in the way it is said in the Hood back in Detroit..and the other, the way it is said in the professional world
The Reason I am working:
(1) Cuz I'm a bad bro with his sht together and papers
(2) H happen to have an advanced degree in a field of science in high demand

I can remember a time when America let Black Haitians drown when they were arriving on overcrowded boats. The ones that didn't die were sent back to their country. I think that the help they are getting is because we now have a Black President. The world and the children of America are watching.!
